i played the wii wheel since im a kid, but i wanna get good at the game, should i start learning the nunchuck or classic pro controller, got both?

DEFINETLY! Start learning nunchuck! since you're coming from wii wheel nunchuck will be the easiest to convert to because you still trick with motion controls. It will probably take you about a week to feel 100% comfortable with it but in the long run it will help you improve massively. Wii wheel makes the whole game harder than it needs to be and with a game this precise you really don't need that...

@@TrevorRS05 so I just tested both, I was a tiny bit faster with the controller but the major difference was, the nunchuck was way easier in tricking, but wheeling was so much easier with the controller, even tho I'd always do it like that

Just keep using Wii wheel lol. I used just the controller without putting it in the wheel and it worked great for me but I never went as crazy competitive as these guys usually do. Its still good enough to get you all of the time trial unlocks and at least one or two stars on all cups tho.

Trevor RS05, with the nunchuck/Wiimote are you holding the hop button and tricking at the same time? I usually hop right before the ramp and then trick. Works. But not always consistent.

I use the wheel control method ,bit I don't actually use the plastic add-on. I can get low-tricks sometimes , sometimes I just get really high air ,or I don't get the trick.

The plastic part does absolutely nothing. And if you go higher than normal that means you hoped too late and did a hop trick. If you miss a trick then just blame the controller.

It depends on controller, for CCP (classic controller pro) and GCN (gamecube controller) you press the R button, but for nunchuck and wii wheel you press the B button. (And you can also press 1 to hop/drift on wii wheel) Hopefully that helps :) if you have anymore questions don’t be afraid to ask

I just switched from the wii wheel controls without the actual wheel to the Wii classic controller and I don't know how to launch shells backwards or forwards

Haha! For every controller except wii wheel you tilt the joystick backwards and then hit the item button.

I've been able to execute some tricks ,like the hop trick for shortcuts , sometimes I was able to moonjump and sometimes do the shortcut where I skip a turn on rainbow road. Sometimes I low trick sometimes I don't ,I use the wheel.

I use a basic wii remote with no attachments to it, how can I do these with just a basic wii remote.

It’s exactly the same as the wii wheel. The wii wheel is just a plastic attachment that makes the regular wii remote look like a steering wheel. It will take a lot of practice to get it consistently and if you’re having trouble I would recommend trying out the nunchuck. (Because if you didn’t know the wii remote is the hardest controller to use)

With wii-mote you shake the controller to trick, just like nunchuck.

Yeah you just need to consistently get the correct timing and you’re set!

Why is left bumper not the trick button for classic controller, this is the only I don't like about mkw

I think it’s because you would only have one trick direction. The dpad gives you all 4 directional tricks and for wheel and nunchuck you use motion controls. And if it didn’t have all of the trick options that would be a solid disadvantage

I assume you are talking about the classic controller pro. If so just search for an “official classic controller pro” and you should find plenty of results. (Also if it doesn’t have the wii logo on it then it’s fake)
