i don't understand why fujifilm is not promoting more. i love my xt3 more than my blackmagic,sony,panasonic,canon cameras. I couldn't believe the quality of the xt3 when i first shot a wedding with it.

This is phenomenal. I plan on buying the XT3 and although I may not have as great of a production value as this amazing short that brought me to tears, I will know that I hold a camera so full of potential and that the sky is the limit, only I can work hard to reach it

It's a very good idea to create cine lenses for the X-mount. However, one of the strenght of the XT3 is its weight and size. This advantage is lost with this MKX 18-55. Maybe MKX primes may allow to keep a compact setup? Why not create cinema prime equivalents of the f2 still primes (16 or 18, 23, 35 and 50)?

While I think this is an amazing piece of work I think it’s let down by the sound quality, it sounds as if there is to much treble and not as a movie should sound.

I think I’m going to have to loose the Canon C200 and CNE lenses and migrate everything to Fuji after seeing this. $17k rig down to a $6k rig.

@@daveangeline2398 sorry, no. Though in retrospect I’d recommend not buying one because there’s no way of switching systems or mounts with it. You’re stuck with X mount no matter what. That’s a bad investment, hence why I sold it. But, you could bank on them implementing ProRes raw in the x system. No guarantee, though. X mount is PERFECT for vintage lenses. Exploit that. It was still a great lens if you’re cool with getting stuck with x mount.
