I understand where you're coming from, but, you're trying to apply logic to a multiplayer video game to argue balance. If we wanted to apply logic, then you could say things like "Ana's heal shouldnt work or be so quick, its shooting high speed projectiles into your teammates, plus it would take time for the contents to disperse into the body, and..." , or "how can a fat man take more damage than a guy in a suit of armor".. etc.

competitive should NEVER have the possibility of a person not having the exact same hero selection as somebody else. That’s quite literally the definition of pay to win and destroys any competitive integrity. If u put a hero in comp they need to be available for everyone. Period.

It's the model that most games use though. League of Legends has you buying each hero, and in Apex you need to grind out for like 40 hours to buy just ONE character. Have you played a fighting game? You need to buy the game and then ALSO each DLC separately (or alternatively the BP), and that shit's expensive man. For Smash you have to buy the game twice to get every character. In Tekken you have to pay extra just to see your character's frame data, which is literally just numbers on screen. I agree this system is bad because of a clear advantage that one team has if they have the BP, but I wouldn't mind it nearly as much if it was possible to unlock him faster. Make him tier 20 of the BP instead of 45 and most people would have unlocked him by now.

@@alvin_row if they wanna do it this way then they should wait an entire season after release before adding him to comp. For quick play I don’t mind it at all. If they wanna tell people they can pay to get them early or just grind over the course of a season to unlock him that’s fine. The issue is how it impacts competitive. It’s a team mode. Both teams should have the same pool of resources. Heroes are that. I don’t play the games you mentioned but any game that has a competitive mode where certain things are locked for some but not for all disgraces the idea of competition. Or it should at the very least give a matchup where either both tanks have him unlocked or both don’t. That’s easy data to use in game matchmaking. It has to be even though.

@@911eragon1 I definitely have killed tanks being pocketed that I had no right killing, his damage up close is crazy. Also, his accuracy on single gun is booty. Turn on circle crosshair and show accuracy and you'll see, the spread is too much to make aiming for the head worth it on most characters. I'm not crying, I'm playing him because he's my favorite tank and I'm having fun. That being said, double gun is boring and not healthy for the game. I want him to be harder to play with a higher reward if you aim well because I think that's more fun and better for the game as a whole.

Depending on who the supports are if Dva dives they can keep themselves alive on their own and Maug turns around and goes BRRRRRR. Sigma, I’d agree. He has more options to eat the damage. If it isn’t two Maugas starting at each other the game ain’t even really fun. Counter picking tanks has made the game boring as well.

I've been in Diamond for about a year. I peaked at Masters 4. In that time, I never fell to Plat. Within this season, I've fallen to Plat 4 and I've only had 2 tanks with the battlepass. I love this game.

@@funkycrawler619 my logic is that he can’t heal himself by doing damage to me because I have a bubble and while he’s shooting my bubble, I’m getting energy And in gold obviously there’s skill differentials as far as people being able to hit each other with bullets anyway lol And so the rest of his team shooting my bubbles makes me stronger while I’m stopping him from healing himself And even with my ultimate keeping him in one spot is nice. Plus I really enjoy playing her so that’s a plus as well🤭

I agree with you, I main support mostly but hog it out time to time, the only issue I ever have is when the team is incompetent. Busting with Ana is easy, I drain him constantly with Moira. Half the time with Ana I don't even need to nade him, just pick off his mercy or zen in 3 shots. Granted I only play in gold, pretty new to this game.

The best thing about being low elo. It don't matter. If anyone tells you otherwise tell them to get gud. But I enjoy playing with Mauga. They are an aggressive tank that forces the tank player to have at least 1 braincell either for aim or to disengage. Forces me to actually respect enemy tank and play smart in terms of position. You get use to no aim DPS no awareness tanks.
