That's the exciting part of baseball when you're seeing players and managers both getting ejected, because you know both the players and managers will put on a show.its funny when you hear the umpires yelling get out of here.Some umpires have a short fuse.the manger I enjoyed seeing getting ejected was Jeff Banister because he lights into the umpires

the most common thing I notice is that the home team broadcaster of the ejected player always seems to take the player side when it doesn't go their way

its amazing how badly words can bother people yall need to chill tf out. If i think the ball is a ball and you call it a strike you bet im gonna say thats fucking bullshit and if these umps would just focus on the game and not get a hard on ejecting players and coaches the game would be different the umps have too much power most of the time the arguing doesnt usually start until the player gets ejected and then he comes over and argues and is animated and i really dont blame the players its the love of the game

I get so tired of home announcers trying to excuse an ejection by saying that the player "had his back turned". Well, he initially had his back turned, until he turned around and either yelled or made some sort of gesture, or both, but somehow the announcers fail to notice that. Besides, if you say or do certain things to show up an umpire, it doesn't really matter which way the guy is facing, does it?
@TheArtOfDean5 жыл бұрын
Josh Conn exactly. Just because a guy has his back turned to you doesn't mean you can't hear him call you a ****head.
@terminator23destroyer153 жыл бұрын
That why Baseball sucks because the comment you just made because the umpire wait until the back is turned and then rejection
@michaelfalkner11862 жыл бұрын
The only thing I'll object to in that regard is if it's clear that the ump decides that he doesn't want to be a man about it and eject the guy to his face (that the player clearly had earned the ejection face-up)...

If the player's union is so strong, why don't they use their muscle back against these umpires who eject players and managers at the first sign of defiance? I understand ejecting players and mangers who are very abusive, but when they get the hook as quickly as shown here, better rules for behavior are needed on both sides. If you note in just this video how many times the sportscaster says, "I've never see (this player) so upset at the umpire before." What's makes this worse is an umpire will now eject someone, then be surrounded by the other umpires, not allowing the ejectee to get to him. I say let the manager face that umpire alone and there may be fewer ejections and stress in the game. The League should also review the umpire's role in each ejection, with possible sanction on those umpires.
@lscales6131Ай бұрын
Sorry but this is ridiculous. It’s in the rules if you argue balls and strikes or a judgment call you’re subject to ejection. So if a players walking away and says “you suck ump” that ump should just take then huh? Oh yeah that’s a great idea as well let the managers get in the face of every umpire after they don’t make a call that goes their way. The other umpire that comes in is really to help speed things up s along bc yelling at an umpire does nothing but prolong the game and it stops the manger from even accidentally contacting the umpire so it saves him from an automatic suspension. And with the announcers most of ex ball plays that may know the games but rarely know the rules. It doesn’t matter where a player or manger is or if they “showed up” the umpire they can be ejected. If a player gets upset and points to where he thought the ball was that’s an automatic ejection and deservedly so. You can’t argue balls and strikes again it’s in the rules.

Could MLB players union go to MLB Commissioner & ask for him to start disciplining poor umpires or umpires who have blown the most calls? Like start fining MLB umpires suspending them or firing them. I think it's possible some MLB umpires could be gambling on games or helping certain teams win because of bribes
