Look im a cricket fan so i have a sugestion i think 162 games is too mutch playing a season for a 6 months is too long too this make the game boring and taking that quality and competetivenas out of the games now im sugest this every team will play 8 games against the teams that are in your group so you get to play two times against the same oposition after 8 games tabale topers from all 6 group can play the world seriea what do you think

Honestly the way he explained it made it sound way more confusing than it actually is lol. Especially when he was talking about the scheduling stuff and how it all adds up to 162 games. Im a life long fan and I didn't even know how that all added up so it's really not too important. All you need to know is they play 162. From there its: 2 Leagues (AL and NL) 3 Divisions within each league Each team plays 162 games. The best team in each division automatically qualifies for the playoffs. The remaining 3 best teams in each league (AL and NL) also make the playoffs. From there its just a regular tournament, with each side of the bracket being one league (One is AL, one is NL). The two best teams in each league get a bye, and the tournament is played like normal, with each matchup being a series. The winner of the AL tournament and the winner of the NL tournament advance to the championship, and play a best of 7 series.

Basically they play over 160 games per season to avoid going broke because of domestic transportation teams will face into a mini series over the course of the season best 3 etc each game is recorded as a regular season win or loss. Playoffs starts with the best teams having a divisional bye round they proceed to the next round free pass whatever you call it. the rest of the bottom teams duke it out in best of 5 or so until 4 teams are left which they will be fighting for a best of 7 series until the world series.
