An Eephus pitch in baseball is considered a "junk" pitch with very low speed. The delivery from the pitcher has very low velocity and usually catches the hitter off-guard.

Thanks for that. I was wondering that as I didn’t even know how to spell it to google it hahah

Yes. It is high risk because if the batter is ready for it, it should be an easy hit or home run,

Amazing seeing these "slow" pitches. Mlb'ers get used to seeing 80 to 100 mph and a mid to high 50s is incredibly difficult to adjust to

Is it possible to do a video on protested games that were actually replayed? I think there are only 15.

I like it when the batter already has a "wtf" reaction before the catcher even catches it.

You know it’s slow when the announcer can get out ‘There it is’ before the ball reaches the plate

I love watching the batter begin the swing and then stop, because they've fired it way too fast. Then it's just too late to reset the swing and hit the ball.

I think this is fabulous I love it when I see these eephus pitchers they freeze these matters solid these batters are sitting there waiting on a 95 mile an hour ball to come their way and then a 50 mile an hour ball is what they see they look at the Empire and they said what the he'll was that .

Oldies but goodies...... Should find the one in the ‘75 World Series. Red Sox pitcher throws it, but the batter was ready and crushed it for a home run.

This was funny.... i am not old school, like black and white old school but i do like 70 - 2000’s announcers. You have any of them? Whether their catch phrases, or something that may have put them on the map. Think Mel Allen or Dave Neihause. Just askin.
