Jose Ramirez does not look fast at all, but he has wheels.

Legitimately looks like the average unc at a cookout, but man can move. Last person you'd see (not on a diamond) and think "Yeah, that dude was just a HR, not even a bag, short of a 40/40 season".

Almost had a 40-40-40 sseason. He can run like hell while still somehow looking like just an average dude

I know he wasn't in the majors last year but Jorge Alfaro always had the most surprising speed to me...6'2 249lb catcher who topped out at 90th % (28.8 ft/s) sprint speed in 2019
@austinmassey77647 күн бұрын
Not sure what his actual sprint speed is, but it always surprised me that Harold Ramirez seemed to hit triples very often

maybe i’m trippin but hinds looks fast to me but idk

It's similar to Trout in my opinion: just looks way too built to be faster than players like Jackson Merrill or James Woods
@andrewsouth33628 күн бұрын
@ completely agree, crazy he set one of the rookie records including steals, but hasn’t lost that speed a lot over his career

@@madethecut Maybe I watch too much football, but 215 lbs is not that big for 6'4". I'd expect someone with that build to be pretty quick

JT Realmuto is sneaky fast as well especially for a catcher

Trout should be the king of the list. Literal most insane build ever for obscene speed

Ohtani as well
@4lyeskas8 күн бұрын
@@r.jguerra5526 I looked and Ohtani is apparently 28 ft/s, so a tad bit slower than the guys on this list. Definitely surprisingly fast for his size, but it helps that he gets REALLY good leads when stealing.

@@4lyeskasthat doesn't explain all the triples
@darkness741858 күн бұрын
@@freddiemcrae428 Ohtani's raw sprint isn't that crazy fast, but he has insanely good jumpstart on top of batting left handed, he's basically the fastest going to first base on average because of that. Combined with the ability to send rockets down infield lines and that'd make for a good few triples

Daulton Varsho. Built a bit like Trout. Doesn't get there pretty but he gets there fast.
