Literally couldn’t have cared less about the MLB before like a month ago. Ohtani is the only reason I’ve watched any baseball for the first time in 10 years. I’m finding myself going out of my way to look up clips of this guy and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Legend before our eyes

I hope people don't start to hate Ohtani for all the attention that he's getting and he's still going to get in the future. Hopefully, MLB trying their best to market Ohtani to promote the game of baseball would not hurt his career and his public image in a bad way. They may also be putting a lot of pressure already on him since their making him already the face of the league and the face of baseball itself.

Honestly it's been SO many years since I last watched baseball. Shohei brought me back to baseball with his unbelievable performance and great character (he seems a really nice guy, respectful and humble). And I love his smile--there's something pure about it that makes him look like a little boy who loves baseball, despite being a 27 year old MLB monster player. Go Shohei kun! Good to see that 100 mph fast ball again, we haven't seen from him since May. He was throwing 100-102 mph in April, but after May, his fast ball only went up to 99 mph. His slider was very good today. And splitter he threw on the last pitch was a really good one.

I mean what do you do? Not sign them? The Angels are paying them. If they didn’t there’s 7-10 teams ready to drop a billion on them both. Obviously the team isn’t great but you can’t drop generational talent like them if you are ownership because you’ll always be known as the teams that traded or released those two
