Now you know why the Royals once missed the playoffs for 28 straight years. Because they keep putting together teams like this. The front office went in half-hearted with the rebuild in 2018, and went half-hearted last offseason by not cleaning house completely. They fired Dayton Moore, but hired his right hand man at GM. Might as well have never fired Moore at all. I have zero faith in this rebuild, and have no reason to believe in them whatsoever. Just wait for the Chiefs to play, KC.

Ok man. I think you're ignoring clear organizational improvement on the development side. Look at the progress made in the minors in the late 10s into the 20s. There's a reason Waters going to KC was viewed as a good organization for him to end up in. And now you can look at our development on the pitching side improving as well finally, especially considering how rough that was. Sure, you can continue to find issues, but for as bad as the Royals may be, they have a legitimate bullpen right now, with a very good amount of depth, and a lineup that can clearly hit the ball well, but just needs to get more experienced and patient. Complaining about a team who's lineup is 80% players with

This is a team that has only had a winning season 3 times since 1994. A World Series doesn't change things. You can try to drum up all the hype you want for the minor leagues, they won't make it in the majors. Royals fans have been watching the minor leagues for years, and it almost never changes things in the majors. So why should I believe them now?

on pace for 47 wins... sheesh. The fact that isn't the worst in the league is almost impressive. Oakland is on pace for 34 wins which would be the worst season in modern mlb history lol. so i guess it could be worse?
