@benko91610 жыл бұрын
***** You are a hater!!! Look at what the Giants have done!!!! Dont be JELLY!!! Wikipedia has them listed as a Dynasty. MLB Network has them listed as a Dynasty. So you can be a hater and say they are not, but you dont get to decide, you jelly fucktard. The rest the Sports World has already declared they are a DYNASTY!!! DONT BE A HATER OR A FUCKTWIT!!!!! GIANTS WIN 3 IN 5 YEARS!! THATS A DYNASTY!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE A DYNASTY IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynasty_%28sports%29 You area a HATER!!!!! A JEALOUS HATER!!! THE GIANTS ARE BETTER THAN YOUR SHITTY TEAM!!!!! U a DODGERS FAN??
@benko91610 жыл бұрын
***** I see your point. And I respect you for your honest answer. I thought you were a Dodgers Fan because there is a huge feud between Nor Cal (Giants Fans, where I live) and So Cal (Dodgers Fans) so I want to apologize for being rude in my earlier post. I assumed and I should never assume. Because Baseball is the hardest sport to be consistently good in, due to long season, injuries and any other incident that can occur during the length of a season, I think people tend to give it more leeway. I agree a team needs to be consistently good in order to be a dynasty. But because all my other sports teams seem to lose consistently I am happy one of my teams finally has done something to be truly proud about. If you look at 2012 with the elimination games we won, like it was something crazy like 7 or 8, not sure off hand, and look at 2014 with the way we won, it was a fun season. Regardless if they are a true Dynasty or not, they are the best team in Baseball in the last 20 years (NOT NAMED THE YANKEES) Because the Yankees will always be the best in history of the league. So its a great time to be a Giants fan (ive been a Giants fan my whole life, 31 years) and I was heart broken in 2002 losing to the Angels in game 7. And this year to win on the road in game 7 which hasnt been done for 30 years is truly special. We do owe it all to Madison Bumgarner. But in the end it was an amazing ride, and I hope it goes on for more awhile. Lets face it, they will never be the Yankees. I dont hate the Yankees, I actually like the Yankees, how can you not? I loved Jeter, a true class act!!!! He will surely be missed in all of Baseball. I admit the Giants have had their off seasons 2011, 2013.... but what they did in 2010, 2012, 2014, will always be remembered. What Madison Bumgarner did.... It was the best Post Season pitching EVER in the league. The Giants have done something special which hasnt been done since the Yankees and the 1947 Cardinals in the NL. They have made a dent on History of the MLB and I think thats what matters most :) :)

The only other WS pitching performance similar to Bumgarner's I can recall in recent memory was Josh Beckett in 2003, when he shut down the Cubs who were on the precipice of winning the pennant in Game 5, then came back on short rest in relief in Game 7 to help close the book on them. He then pitched a gem in Game 3 of the WS against the Yankees and came back in on 3 days rest to shut them out in Game 6. Congrats to the Giants and the Mad Bum on a phenomenal run this year.

Affeldt is such an unsung hero for the Giant's 3 world series wins. In each of those runs, he came in in the highest pressure situations and locked it down. In this game, he was the bridge to get to Bumgarner. If he didn't settle the giants down, this wouldn't have happened. Also the hidden play of the game was Perez making the catch in the 5th. I still think he should have sent Gordon on that triple. Madison was pitching lights out this whole postseason. I think the best chance the Royals had was to make Crawford throw an absolute strike home to nail Gordon. Would have been an insane extension of Game 7 or an insane way to end a Game 7 world series!

3:36:54 Erin Andrews and later Joe Buck got it wrong in Bud Selig trophy presentations. This is his 20th, not 23rd. In 1992 and 1993, Dr. Bobby Brown presented the trophy to the Blue Jays. In 1994, of course, the strike canceled the World Series. Selig was acting commissioner until July 9, 1998.
