Johan Santana threw a no hitter. Almost doesn't get more dominant then that. And if you've been a mets fan for that long than you've definitely seen DeGrom in more dominant form where he sustained it for more than 6 innings. But nonetheless he's working his way back from injury and this was still a great quality start. We've seen him be even more dominant and he will get back to that soon for sure! #LGM fan since 1993

Jacob deGrom reminds me of the player that I created for the "Road to the show" at MLB 22 ... 99 percent and he is just like Jacob. Maybe deGrom is also a playstation player. Definitely the Goat of our generation. I am a Yankees fan and I really like Cole but deGrom is by far my favourite pitcher! Huge respect!!

Even through the TV you could feel how electric the crowd was at Citi Field. deGrom was on his usual Cy Young stuff. Diaz was dominant. Even Rodriguez had a great outing. Pitching was just phenomenal today. And the run support was the best part ;)

Before that only time I've ever thought that was the year we shoulda won in 2015. This year we are way more stacked and our offense is legitimate along with our pitching. Both have improved drastically and maintained the elite level of play. no choking this year. We will be in the world series at minimum. I believe we are winning it all

Exactly, because it just keeps working over and over again. Hitters know exactly what to expect and still can’t hit it. It’s like. MAGIC. 🪄 To be fair, when DeGrom is locating his pitches, he is as close to impossible to hit as possible. Hitters can’t react to the late break slider fast enough because of its speed and the fact that they also have to respect his 102 mph fastball.

deGROM is electric! Not a Mets fan but definitely a deGrom fan. I hope he can stay healthy. His windup & delivery is eerily similar to Pedro only much slower. That 102mph fastball, damn, oh then try and hit that slider. We wonder why most hitters hit around .200 now, the pitching is insane. I remember a time closers were the only ones throwing 95+. Now every SP is throwing in the high 90s it seems but no one is as filthy as Jacob deGrom.
