@@rags15061 exactly. what i meant was not that I’m frustrated with the coaching staff for taking him out after the 6th, but I’m mad he threw so many, and that costed us from getting to see another 1 or 2 or even 3 more innings. And yeah I can somewhat agree, the umps did do a horrible job and that costed him a ton of extra throws, but Skenes himself should get a little of the blame. Just a little!

This would be a 'Cinderella' start for the kid if he wasn't in Pittsburgh - unless of course the owners wake up before they not only lose a team-full of young talent, but their brilliant GM Ben Cherington as well, and it all becomes just another flash-in-the-pan (if you could even call it that in the end). As a Bucs fan since '69, and seeing all the success in the '70's, all I see now is more of the same. Why? Because now, even though we've drastically improved the players on the team, the other half - coaching - has been left behind in the dust.

Almost Every top prospect pitcher have a good start in MLB, I hope He became a star but don’t jump in the bandwagon, MLB players and coaches are looking at him and the more he pitches more tape and info they will have in their hands to work agains him, remember the way he’s been praise now that he’s good and be patient with him when he gets humbled.
