Damn, Volpe's streak ended. 21 games is legit tho, and I like that he wasn't selfish and took the walk instead of swinging to try and keep the streak alive. Team player through and through
@Hawkwing45678 ай бұрын
His hitting streak, yeah...was a tough way to go out on. There is one streak that he's still on that hasn't ended...the on-base streak. The walk he drew from Adam Cimber with the bases loaded has given AV his 21st straight game of reaching base.

Man Judge is a man on a mission. Tied with Jorge Posada in home runs, tied with both Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig for most extra base hits in the month of May and now he’s 12 bombs away from tying up another legend in Bernie Williams. Keep chasing Captain!

i really don't understand why Angels continues losing. mostly 1 run difference. this time starter was good. batting is average so as others. but, reliever, Cimbar usually a savior for Angels pulled a plug. all young talents working so hard, i feel really sorry for their loss. but, nice and fresh Angels without an idiotic fantasy baseball player bring me back the fresh high school time. Go Angels! This team is really worth going to postseason this year.

Been an Angels fan since the Chili Davis days. I remember seeing Tim Salmon and Mike Piazza winning Rookie of the Year together for both LA clubs. Through the years of the rally monkey, trading for tex to give us a shot at a chip, and of course the day we signed Albert. Of course there was the lows. Watching big Mo get injured, watching Albert stink it up, watching Hamilton stink it up, and of course watching Rendon STINK it up. But this Angels team must be the sorriest bunch i've ever seen. No fight, No spirit, nothing. It's like there guys are just out there waiting for the season to end. I feel sorry for us fans and most of all I feel sorry for Mike. Trade the man to a legit team so he can know what it feels like to play for something instead of being stuck in this sorry excuse of a team.

I understand your feelings for your team. You seem to be one of those level headed baseball fans that we don't always hear from in comments on social media. But I don't feel bad for Mike T. He has been in the org long enough to see how they are run. But you know Tony Gwynn was often asked why he stays w SD and I think he said he happy there. If Mike is happy w Angels then so be it. It's rather refreshing.

You did not see a baseball game! All you saw, except for rare instances was a pitcher, a catcher and an umpire. This ridiculous view we get is a joke. There is absolutely no feeling that you're watching a baseball game when seen only from a center field camera. Baseball games used to be televised from above and behind home plate where you could see at least the infielders and the base runners and their tactics. You felt as if you were almost there. Now they have to use icons to show who's on base! It's absurd. It's as if you are watching a video game. I never watch a baseball game on TV, because it's not really a baseball game. In football, hockey, basketball, soccer, etc. you always see the field and usually all the players. NOT IN BASEBALL! The televised game now is claustrophobic and suffocating compared to what watching a baseball game should look like. I would never pay to watch a televised baseball game. It's so frustrating. Watch some older games when Mantle, Berra and the like played. You saw the field!! Wow! There's an actual field and NINE players! We are getting cheated. Also, who needs to see all these dumb closeups of players in the dugout spitting. I'd rather listen to the game on the radio. When I visit a minor league game (The Lakewood Blue Claws) in my county, I am awed and overwhelmed by the spaciousness and beauty of the field, the players movements, the defensive maneuvers, the whole environment. I'm actually watching a baseball game! I've written to the Yankee organization to no avail. Of course, all the teams televise the same absurd way now. Am I the only one who feels this way? If not, please write and complain. You deserve to watch a real and correctly televised game, not this farce which we are subjected to. Such a shame-- a ruination of a beautiful game.
