@@Ardyrezv, Yeah they won it all in 2019, but that was a magical year, almost a fluke. Though I’m thrilled that they won. They had better teams and players in previous years but couldn’t ever win a single playoff series - instead of building on that, they let those players go. Letting the best players in the league leave your team year after year is not a rebuild. Especially when you don’t get anything for them when they leave. It’s just bad money. Bryce Harper, Anthony Rendon, and Juan Soto, were not picked up, The Nats wouldn’t pay, and they got nothing for them. They traded away Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, and Max Scherzer. A handful of other pretty good players were traded too including Lane Thomas, and Jesse Winker. With the exception of Max Scherzer and Anthony Rendon, all the players I mentioned above were in the playoffs, and the Phillies have most of those players. The Nats are averaging 65 wins a season in the past 4 seasons. The team is basically a bunch of minor leaguers at this point, and has been for a while. A fan should expect some kind of improvement, during a rebuilding phase… but 5 years post world series and they’ve not had a winning season.
