A solid reel but it really doesnt do him justice. Unless you watched him everyday you cant imagine how many runners he gunned down by throwing behind them as a cutoff man and how many baserunners he held from getting extra bases on deke plays. Ive watched ball since 2001 and this dude was the best defended i ever watched.

Loved watching Simba play defense for the Angels. Not only did he make amazing plays, but he also did all of the little things to keep base runners hesitant from taking extra bases. There was only one Ozzie Smith, but Simba is a close second.

i loved simba but u guys missed in of my personal favorites in mlb history it was back when he was on the angels it was a little floater into the outfield he dove back the ball bounced off his glove and then in mid air he caught it bare handed
