I've been watching some of these montages of players like Arendao, Edmonds, Schmidt, etc. I have to say this series of plays might be the best of them all.
@Samir-37374 ай бұрын
Just did the same, and I agree with you 100%. Nado truly made plays that I only saw Rolen and Brooks Robinson making regularly. I put Nado 2nd or 3rd all-time with the glove at 3B

I totally agree he's the best 3rd baseman I've ever seen,I still don't understand why The Rockies got rid of him.
@Flokeeylo4 ай бұрын
They didn't get rid of him. They understood they couldn't do anything for him. Look at Trout. HOF without a ring or playoff series win for that matter

Hard to argue. He is damn near a lock for 30HR, 100RBI and a gold glove going on 10 years. He's something special

The catch in San Fran where he catches it backwards full sprint and flies up onto the tarp…has to be a top 5 play by a 3B of all-time. No worse than top 10. Any third baseman

I got to see him at Wrigley in 2015 at my dad told me that he is one of the best defensive third basemen he has ever seen and my dad and I are cubs fans, mind you

They act like he’s catching the ball bare handed off the bat not the fact the ball did a double bounce
@AustinSigmaBaseball4 ай бұрын
I’d love to see you do these
@Mike-hy8cs14 күн бұрын
lol some of the bounces i agree with but some of these were hard to snag in one motion and then throw them with that much accuracy and speed to get the out. Thats what makes it really impressive.

You ever notice how majority of the content on this channel happens before 2023 (the year that stupid pitch and batter clock got implemented, thus making baseball feel like a P90X workout instead of the slow paced game that made it so beautiful)? Doesn’t matter that 2024 is only the 2nd year officially with these idiotic new rule changes, the fact is that baseball before these new rules was beautiful. And it’s not the same anymore. Whoever runs this channel needs to wrap his or her head around this fact, grow a pair, and tell the Commissioner and the others in charge to get rid of the clock rules for batters/pitchers, to get rid of the new base stealing rules and all the other nonsense that has ruined Americas greatest pastime

Huh. I haven't really noticed it changing all that much.
@LallanAlexHockstetter4 ай бұрын
@@blessd24 if u paid tf attention, you’d easily notice that pitchers are more focused on just delivering their pitches for the sake of beating a clock instead of delivering their pitch with actual thought behind it. Compare the game now to pitchers like Greg Maddux, Randy Johnson and company. You’ll see. You’ll also notice that hitters now hardly have time to truly adjust themselves and be fully ready. That’s why guys like Mike Piazza had way more success at hitting compared to hitters in todays MLB. I’m telling u dude, baseball has always been meant to be a game where u take ur time. Just watch baseball games from pre-2020 and compare it to now. It’s gone absolutely downhill
