Karsten Melton back it up to the beginning of that clip and watch closely. It doesn’t have to do where the runner and ball meet at the end, despite that being what the commentators were so focused on, it’s where he’s running. He’s too far to the left of the line, with his foot hitting the grass as he runs, that’s all it takes. The ump got it right. No need for review.
