I wish the directors of baseball broadcasts would be more sensitive to what's going on in the game. So often, the camera is late to things: ejections, arguments, any sort of drama. They will suddenly cut to something completely uninteresting, like the batter taking some warm-up swings, or the pitcher spitting onto the grass; meanwhile there's clearly drama brewing at another point in the game, but we miss it cause the broadcast director doesn't catch it in time. If there's a controversial call on a ball and strike, KEEP THE CAMERA ON HOME PLATE.

They actually don't. They get over 90% of calls right. I will say though some umpires have pure shit egos and won't ask for help which is why reviews needed to be put in the game. Any time a coach asks for help if i have an umpire i am working with.. if I see he has a better angle.. i will gladly ask. That is all coaches really want on some calls. It sucks if the call gets reverted but the point is to get the calls right and now let big egos get in the way of that.
