Meat Loaf He was always unique, one in a million, the master of opera rock turns a month since he went to heaven to rock with the angels... Rest in peace my dear Meat Loaf

I just discovered Braver that we are in 2021. So glad that I did! Seen Meat Loaf several times since the 80's and a pretty big fan but missed this one.

I want to be on KZbin because what I love about Meat is that he wrote songs to see what we get out of it. I am a writer myself. I actually use to write short stories when I was little. After I knew Meat and Jim existed and found out about them this year, I have written my own stories and SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WANT to put it on KZbin. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PROUD of them, THERE...IS...NOOOOOOOOOOOO...WAY I can't not share them on KZbin and keep them to myself. NO WAY. Can y'all see my EXCITEMENT? 😆😁😂. But he said that he hates it when people share their stories to their songs. I hope he won't hate me. Sorry Meat but I HAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVEEEEEEE TOO. 😁. I hope you will forgive me.

These EXTREMELY TALENTED souls will be dearly missed. I am SO SAD I didn’t know they existed until after Meat died. I’ve actually heard Two out of Three ain’t bad before they died but I wasn’t into 70s music then so I didn’t care to know who the singers was. But now that I know it was Jim and Meat, I am so very sad I didn’t get to meet both. Hey guys. Can someone help me with this question? Meat says at the end of this video that he doesn’t tell you what he’s thinking when he’s singing a song because he doesn’t want you boxed in. I am making a KZbin channel and I’ve been trying to come up with my own stories to Meat Loaf’s songs. My question is should I release my videos because I don’t want y’all boxed in. Can someone comment what y’all think I should do?

7:25 Meat Loaf did Total Eclipse? Where's that? I wanna hear it, but my Google-fu is failing me - I can't find it anywhere!

Actually it's from the song "Skull of your country" on the Braver album ;-)

14:25 - 14:33 Huh? If you're listening to yourself sing then you're in the moment of the song and then you can't be in the moment. But you are because you're in the moment of a character? Huh?

Unfortunately, despite all the good intentions, and despite a moving and epic cover album, I do not find that this latest opus lives up to the previous Bat albums. The songs are mostly oldies and not necessarily the best and both Meat and Jim were sick and not in the best shape, especially Meat's vocals. It nevertheless remains a final moving project.

They didn't address his health/voice going out at all, or having Karla and Ellen Foley back? Or a very ill Jim Steinman basically having his dying voice added to the recording?

An amazing album. A little different but amazing. You need to listen to it a couple times to follow the storyline

If you look at it as a stand alone, its poignant. Romantic and a fitting closing.

👀💋 - Too many words in the ForeFront. All Confirming Spirit of this phenomena that binds you to Sandro/Elvis in my heart forever. Prior to that, I have always been a Ginormous Admirer of MeatLoaf in all aspects, all way to Rocky Horror Picture Show. Expect that I will discuss this openly on my Channel as an Educational/Paranormal Spiritual Investigation kinda way 2. Your Artisans are incredible. Legacy + Destiny = Immortality 🙏🏼

The production on this record is absolutely awful. The vocals are way overproduced, the instruments sound weak, flat and off. What a shame with such great material.
