Hi! Thanks for the great review. Does it always need to be paired with the watch to be able to track your hr? The reason I ask is because, in addition to running, I also play beach volleyball and cannot wear my Pace 3 during game but still would like to track my hr. Thanks for your response! (PS: I do own a Polar OH1 but for some reason, 90% of the time I’m having issues pairing it with my Pace 3)

Pairing this should be very very similar to the OH1. Sounds like you want to be able to record activities in memory. That’s not something this device does. It needs to be connected to a watch to record. Sorry buddy.

@@mlegrand Thanks for your reply ! Indeed, I'd like to be able to record data in memory - so I guess getting the Coros HRM will not solve my "issues" with the OH1 and record data of other sports I do where I cannot have my watch/phone nearby

we will normally be able to see all the data in the coros app as with the watch

It would be fine for sleep but I’d reach out to COROS to see if it designed to make it for long over night tracking.

I’m assuming you could wear the sensor on the inside of your arm and it wouldn’t make a difference correct? I have a tattoo on the outside of each arm. Might be a dumb question but would appreciate if some could let me know, thanks

Correct, you could wear this sensor on the inside of your arm as long as rubbing doesn't bug you. You could also wear this on your forearm which I've done with other similar products with good success. Thanks for watching this one Jared! 👍

Looking for a HR strap to accompany my Apple Watch Ultra to get better more accurate HR data. Is this or the Polar H10 or similar more recommended?

Chest straps are always the most accurate option. They can have issues if they’re a little too dry but other than that, they tend to have the most accurate results. I’d also consider a more affordable chest strap heart rate option.

I got this band in a week, and i don't get different bpm, average and maximum, than in a cheap Amazing Band 7. So... Is it recommended to use this arm band in tandem with Coros Pace 3? Or maybe i'll gt the same, almost the same, just with the watch?

Yeah, I think it's very optional. You'll probably get very good data from the Pace 3 but it all depends on the type of activity that you're doing. Has only one feature, even with their own watches. Polar has way more even if the rest of their products fall flat. I’ll pass for now but might kick Garmin into action

It was very similar with their pods or I do not know how they called it. Watch paired with it was surprisingly less accurate. Now we see can see new HRM band, witch is less accurate then optical sensor on others brands (apple, huawei)...
