Fish handling practices are different for sure. It looks like a great trip. That boat looks good with the bigger front deck. What did you think about it?

Definitely didn’t fish handling but o have to say they were all good shape in the fish release area! I loved the little boat!

This is insane, unbelievable how strong the fish population is. What type of forage are they feeding on there?

Some type of small Shad and shrimp!

The lake is likely being prepped for the tournament by stocking farm bred fish. Bass are not native to China and they are mostly introduced species in some reservoir and lakes. There are probably organic growing bass on the lake as well but not in large amount. As to what they feed, its likely wild gold fish or sometimes known as crucian carp. This species is everywhere in China and many lures tries to imitate their color and shape. The second most popular species is a loach and a shad-like fish (I don't know its scientific name). Small river shrimp is also probably available. Most lures in China are imitating these forage targeted by local fish and likely the bass as well.
