5:58 End crystals actually break blocks in all directions, but the majority of explosion damage going downwards is absorbed by the obsidian placed under it. If you break the obsidian then detonate the crystal, it'll leave a crater as usual.

i know why the cactus falling one does. When you constantly take damage there are some invincibility frames after the latest damage you take, so obviosuly as it sounds, you dont take damage in those invincibility frames.

At 2:00, you can survive at any height as long as you take damage before hitting the ground. Because it will reset the effect of fall damage. It doesn't have to be a cactus, it can be anything that can damage you. I believe it also works on java not sure tho.

The reason why the cactus can prevent fall damage is that all entities (player included) are invincible for half a second after taking damage

If you place an end frame on the corner of an active end portal, and put an eye of ender in it, it will play the sound just as if you activated a complete portal (even tho no new actual portal would be created, just the activation sound)

Myth: You can survive the void by having the effect istant health [ you need to set the time of the effect to 1000+ and set its power to 100]

The myth about the cactus damage saving you from a fall is probably true because of a small time of immunity you get after getting damaged, however, at least on java, if the damage you should receive during invincibility frames is higher than what you just got, then it should give you damage. Maybe it's different in bedrock
