lol even with damage build as long as you are not nerf by them killing your ghost form you can typically 1v1 depending on the enemy, the thing is why ran if you know that you really have no choice but to fight more over knowing that you got better equips than the enemy since hanzo is a flash farmer. Conclusion: those with sprint hanzo using sprint on running are definitely low ranks.

Some tips for hanzo: 1. Try to eat a creep right before using ult, it can help to replenish some energy during the ult after it digested 2. Max your skill 1 first since its damage scales highly with skill level, at max lvl it deals 25% max hp 3. As its ghost form half your physical and magic def, if you want to buy tank items, go for high hp or utility items like cursed helmet and immortality 4. If you have trouble activating your skill 1 (ult form), you can try getting golden stuff which allows you to activate skill 1 with 3 stacks at the cost of lower overall damage

11:08 People might not notice but this bug it's pretty annoying, and I've noticed it for quite a long time. When a minion is on the borderline of the turret's agro, it'll tank the turret shot for the players but the defense of the turret is not lowered. You can literally see on the health bar at the top where the base regen out-healed hanzo's damage. Even if you're a tank, this shouldn't have happened when there's a minion within the turret range. Hope they noticed this soon...

I think tank Hanzo is a good idea because he can join more teamfights that way instead only using the demon form to join. Besides that , assassin are useless against him in this way due that he using tank items so it's hard to burst him down . And plus ,you can easily to say Hanzo is like a duo tank when he is using a tank build. One from his main body and one from his demon form

I tried playing Hanzo as a mid with petrify & it's effective. As a mid i could rotate where ever I want safely... 3 damage item, a boot & two defense..

I used to go full tank when tank meta was the way to go. He was actually op but no one noticed. Tanks got nerfed a lot. So I started building him semi tank with trinity and 2 defensive items. It gives you good tankiness and you can still deal decent damage.

I think hybrid hanzo is the way to go. Just build DHS and golden staff for hanzo and the rest is tank items depending on the enemy. His 2nd skill benefits from attack effects so dhs is a good build and golden staff so you could trigger your first kill faster and it also a good combo for dhs. Offlane hanzo or roam hanzo can also be played with a petrify spell coz he can use petrify while using his 2nd skill just like benedetta's ultimate petrify combo.

I used a Hanzo tank build with a tank emblem(Cooldown and HP), but I equipped a demon hunter sword and Corrosion Scythe, the rest of the items are magic and physical resistance. fair enough to stay longer fighting on enemies' damage dealer.

Hanzo's weakness is his own body. However, if you build tank, it covers his weakness to a degree. I've done unorthodox builds too like tank Karina and even her passive does decent damage while having more survivability. If you're lacking a tank, tank builds work surprisingly well on some assassins.

I experimented with Hanzo tank and I think its best build will be Battlespell: Sprint 1. Rapid Boots [dire or encourage (roaming allows you to be constantly stealing your enemies buff if your hyper doesnt know what invading means) ] 2. Cursed Helmet 3. Twilight Armor 4. Bruteforce breastplate 5. DHS or Cs or Gs ( dhs if 2+ enemies are tanky. Cs if the enemy lineup is balanced. Gs if the enemies have high mobility heroes or using sprint ) 6. Dominance ice (or Sea Halbert if your team is lacking dmg. i.e. If your marksman or hyper is inexperienced)

I've tried Tankzo ever since he was released. Having him with the old twilight armor is like his bread and butter. For those who are new, the old twilight armor has a neat passive where any damage that exceeds a specific damage amount, will only deal damage based on the threshold. Let's just say a fed Aldous chased you, if he used his S1, the armor will identify if the damage would exceed the damage cap (which was 600) or not in one instance. If it does, the armor will just negate all damage and give you 600 damage instead of the 1k+ that his S1 gives you. Imagine any burst attacks that it could eat, you'll thank it alot. Then it got changed, now giving a AoE field around you that deals true damage (I think, I saw that it was true damage) based around your hp while also slowing any enemies near it. It still has that damage reduction and it had the crit damage reduction back then. The current twilight is good but the past one is just too good to forget. You can also use Hanzo as a roamer with dire hit. I usually partner it with inspire and go assassin as inspire can rip any champs well, follow that with the dire hit and it'll take a chunk of their hp as well, giving you an upper hand. Although risky, you just need to check which is better before locking in. Id you're not sure, just go for the dire hit + sprint + tank build to remove the high risk, high reward feeling.

Yes I main Hanzo and i always use Tank Build. Its a very good build for him. Ur soul can last for a longer time in battlefield. And ur weak body also gets some defense against Hanzo counters like Natalia

How to kill tank hanzo using nata Boots>BoH> DHS>Malefic>Antique Cuirass>Immortal/Twilight Armor Borrow red buff, max roam dire hit Demon hunter is your main dps item - hp based damage. Attack>1st skill> ss> 2nd skill> spam normal attack to maximize DHS dps> 1st> SS> execute Hanzo can't burst you since you're tanky. And he can't hit you while on smoke. He'll die before you. (Depends how you play her) Note: still effective to burst mm and mage even if they build cuirass against you. Just switch immortal/twilight armor to athena's for burst mages that annoys you You're welcome.

i think instead of corrosion scythe, use sea halberd instead. The new passive of it (8% max hp dmg) can be a great addition to the added damage of his first skill based on the the target's 12% max hp

I tried this last season and this is good because of his sustain and decent damage but I prefer my own build (magic shoes, golden staff, hunter strike, corrosion or DHS, malefic roar or immo/bruteforce)for better cd reduction and decent damage (magic shoes,golden staff,corrosion,DHS,malefic and immo focus on attack speed only) then high and dry assassin emblem then petrify or retribution for the spell (I always prioritize Golden staff because hanzo can play fast because of the item's passive)

Ok the jig is up. I didn't want a popular streamer to out tank Hanzo but since it's out I'll just suggest a few things. Tank Hanzo is meta BUT in solo Q like Elgin said it won't work every game esp late game so just build semi tank. Hanzos 3 first items should always be tank and the last 3 slots must be corrosion scythe,DHS and malefic roar you will still have damage in late game and sustain to get your core items and outplay enemies in early game. Note:this is just my personal preference to damage items for Hanzo you can use whatever but malefic roar is a must. This build specifically counters ling fanny Natalia. I have lots to say but just try this and see how many MVPs and gold medal wins you obtain but don't get cocky remember Hanzo is still a squishy assassin. Have fun with semi tank Hanzo

@@fifthofhisname it really depends on you I have my reasons for each item but let me try. Warrior boots , cursed helmet,brute force as third item(for physical enemy) then magic enemy tough boots, cursed helmet and radiant armor. Sub items for physical could be blade armor/antique cuirass(specifically for ling fanny nata), and sub for magic Athena shield for burst (Harley etc). Sorry if this confuses you I can't really explain it well just use defence items you know will counter the enemy

try the new SPEEDY TANK LAYLA, try experimenting these items in what order you like i usually go 1st with: ENDLESS->THUNDERBELT (for mana spam) then WINDTALKER->CORROSION(for speeds) the other 2 is BOOTS(any you like), BREASTPLATE(for another speed, cdr, tankiness). as for talents its any but i preffer TANK TALENT + BRAVE SMITE(her 2nd stuns and can heal now even on creeps). and the gameplay is slow you usually just farm till 3-4 items before you can hurt them but lucky you if 3 items and theyre not careful.

PS. the trick is you wanna hit 1st then toss 2nd on enemies at early stages. you can hit creeps with 1st if theyre afraid of appraoching so you can 2nd+basic them = instant harrass + bravesmite. then return farming. when you get 30-40 cdr thats where you automatically time your combos if theyre far or near. if far = spam skills if near = 1st + move + basic atk , after 1sec spam 2nd (for endless+thunderbelt) thenafter 1sec repeat 1st move basic.

Met a jungler Hanzo with tank build . Not very good since he does not have good damage due to being hp oriented rather than the normal damage build which led to giving too much pressure on us with Leomord being the enemy jungler. So I suggest adjust to something that will help with clashes

You know what im not claiming it but im one of the first one to use this tank hanzo build and take note not as a jungler but the roaming one. I first use this build 2019 and one of my secret build is the built and go for max hp.
