at 2:07, thats what we call a Chinese gybe, an uncontrolled toggle of the boom to one side, the SAFE way is to sheet in, then out, no risks of knocking anyone overboard. (you also risk rope burning your hands/fingers, as the force comes suddenly, and rips the line out of the hand). Also for safety, the yelling of "GYBO" as a warning this boom is moving!! this can save people, as they know to duck!!
