Let us remember to love one another, but not idolize one another. I used to idolize pastors and heroes of mine because of the words they say and the things they do but a great hero of mine told me "It isn't me, but it is God through me, the Holy Spirit through me, for without Christ I am wretched, rotten, and evil." I love the words Martin Luther King Jr. speaks and agree good things are gifts from God, but let us make sure we cherish the giver more than the gifts. For without the giver we are all just poor, wretched, evil men.

@@travelingexpress Friend, be careful and humble. Some who think they are qualified to teach others, may come to realize that THEY themselves need to be taught. I'm not saying MLK got ever point right, but he got his main point right: "Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God. Whoever says that he loves God and does not love his brother is a liar. How can we love God whom we've never seen and hate our neighbor who we see every day?" That's the point! When we love someone, he/she is treated as one of the family, as indeed he/she is. We are all part of the HUMAN FAMILY and should be treated as such. Failure to excise this cancer of racism in America has NOW resulted in our country being on "life support" and everyone must do their best to turn this emergency around. God ONLY can fix America! He ALONE, if it were according to His plan. But we can do our part to coexist in some sort of tranquility until He returns to get rid of this wicked race, (human race) and clean up this world, and eventually set up a Kingdom of love, peace and harmony that will last Forever. For more info: Www.amazingfacts.org Also their great documentary REVELATION: The Bride, the Beast, and Babylon. Be blessed on this third workday of the week, Tuesday and each day of 2021!

@Steel Heart God has NEVER commanded man to hate another man. We are to hate sin (sinful deeds), but love the sinner. For God so loved the world (that includes every body) that He gave His only begotten son (John 3:16). We are to study to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Timothy 2:15).

When Dr.King spoke in sermons, you can just feel how he is trying to get the message thru our hearts and ears, that sometimes seem to be set in stone. But when you listen close the message breaks through and you can receive it in your heart. I'm always attentive when a minister preaches with such frevor, because you know they are not just up there sprouting words, and they are not doing it for show, they are trying to help YOU, and so I listen.✌❤🙏🌹🎵🌲Thank you, Dr.King

The first time I saw and heard this great negro leader was during my first year in college at Arkansas Baptist in Little Rock. I was so taken by his voice and intelligence. Today I woke up listening to mayor's, governor's, Chief of Police and I know they have never gone through what Mr. King went through. I know when the white man heard his speeches that was a sign to rid him or they will be in big trouble as a leader. I am so proud to have met him. I wished we had that kind of leader today. Nothing has changed since 1964. Therefore, until a young brave male or female rises up and lead today nothing is going to change. Mr. King wasn't afraid to speak the truth of the same things we are going through today 2020. The speeches are the same just a different face. Amen.

What do you mean when you say "when the white man heard", all whites are the same person to you? I think it defines the word racism, when judging people by skin color, white or black, brown or yellow. And I perceive it as that which is what you do in your comment. I am white and have always admired MLK and everyone else, regardless of skin color, who represents what MLK is talking about. Racism has no color just an ignorant soul. At least that's how I think.

It's exactly what she meant. The majority of white people hated Dr. King especially when he began to address the economic plight and inhumane treatment of black and brown people around the world. He confronted white supremacy and all of its ills. The white racists and the government assasinated him and many others in the name of white supremacy. I think King referred to it as white backlash. The same backlash your comment is rooted in.

David Burton It IS without a doubt that the PREVIOUS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION should hear this message as WELL. NO MORAL COMPASS whatsoever! They PROMOTED same sex marriages and same sex bathrooms, PROMOTED SEGREGATION through racial divide and COMPROMISED the WORD of TRUTH. Other countries embraced Obama and his Administration because his policies coincided with their agenda. America was embraced by other countries under Obama because that Administration ( which appeared as angel of mercy) was in collusion with certain despotic regimes, selling America down the river. BUT, PRAISE be the NAME of the MOST HIGH GOD in CHRIST, GOD sent us a DELIVERER in President Trump who isnt afraid to stand up against them; not to mention the persecution that he has faced since he WON the election in 2016 which PROVES he is.. Thank GOD for His Abounding GRACE and MERCY. The Most High GOD in CHRIST is waking up His people (especially my black people who are finally waking up to the corrupt Democratic Party and WALKING AWAY from their oppressors) to who the real enemy is and thank GOD that HE is using President Trump to wake up the American people to lies and deceptions coming from the Democratic Party, DOJ, FBI, ETC... The bible speaks against Martin. Jeremiah 23:25-28 [25]I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. [26]How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; [27]Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. [28]The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

Some seem to remember Dr. King as a brilliant speaker, or as a civil rights leader, or as a Jesus-loving preacher. This man should be beatified; He was a saint. Such a regal man, an eloquent and engaging speaker. May all Americans honor him, and treasure his words, for they are relevant in all times. We were gifted him by our gracious God for too short a time, and it is our duty to carry his message forward, to future generations, that we shall never forget the struggle, the pain and the evils that were dealt to his people. We must remember, for it is through those memories only that one is able to appreciate the truth, the beauty behind the noble words

Yesterday and today I find myself listening to the immortal words of Dr. King. I'm not sure why God has brought me in this direction but I know that when he does there is a message he wanted me to hear. I was 6 years old, chosen by my pastor at the time, Dr. Curtis W. Harris, may he rest in peace, to travel an hour and a half to go to Ivor Virginia to hear Dr. King speak. Instead Rev. Ralph Abernathy came in his place. Our King couldn't make it because American evil took his life. Some would like to say much has changed, but I disagree. Not when the silent voice of George Floyd and so many others still ring from the grave of the injustice that this country displays on a daily basis. America has lost it's saltiness as the Holy Scriptures has written. America's apostasy has taken this country to a place that will soon be it's demise, a place of no return and swift judgement.

Jesus said "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Does a good tree bear bad fruit?" MLK, Jr. talked the talk, walked the walk, and gave birth to a better way. MLK Jr. is a good tree that bore good fruit. As a skeptical person, I look down on BLM, but I admire this man, a true King, and I only hope that I don't make him feel ashamed, from his throne in the afterlife - that I haven't so disappointed him that he would adjudge me unworthy at a seat at his table. I happen to be white, but this man's great teachings have taught me to understand that being white means nothing - the contents of my character and the quality of my actions are the only things that matter. And so I know only character matters, although that gets a big assist from Susan B. Anthony and a bunch of other women, who have rightfully pronounced, "We matter as much as you." So true - no human is superior to another, unless that person does something extraordinary to prove it. America and the world should pay heed to aspiration, in my humble opinion, lest they succumb to pessimism. We Americans must not only promote the values and prosperity of the USA, but of the whole world, and if we have done anything less we have failed. MLK, Jr. helped teach me that - me, a white boy who wants everyone else to be even happier than me. I don't see power as my ability to oppress others - I see see power as the ability to push others, of any race, to be excelllent. This black man MLK, Jr. was simply correct. He inspires me, and should inspire everyone, not to hate ourselves based on what race we were born as, but to embrace the universal quality of excellence, for although we all sin, so too can we be redeemed. If I were a lesser man, I would not love MLK, Jr.

Truly Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is a gift of God. God almighty gave him the same wisdom and knowledge that was given to the king Solomon. Otherwise he would not have become a great world class leader within 32 years. His inspiring speech that he gave in the Baptist church in 1956 November still inspires even now millions of peoples across the world. It is a sad thing that even during his life time in the there were 256 denominations segregated themselves from each other.... It is now 2010 and still it is the same condition all over the world. His dream is not yet to be realised . As he said , let the churches unite themself first and express their brotherhood to the world first. This is needed because Christ is only one body of the church not many bodies. Why to divide it into so many pieces?. Will it not hurt Him? Will God like it?. Never. Never. May God give us the wisdom to realise his dream. Thanks be to God.
