I think my favourite part about these MLM trainings nowadays is that the anti-MLM community probably pays more attention to the content than anyone actually in attendance lol I also want to add that I HATE that they are always telling their teams to WORK HARDER and THINK LESS. It is pretty gross.

1. "I selfishly started drinking the pink drink" - this is a gross statement. 2. Wait...she signed her husband up for something he was adamantly against. RED FLAG. RED FLAG. RED FLAG. 3. "Don't let people stop you." - Yikes. She not only lied to her husband, but spent money in his name for MONTHS and yet she wants you to think HE'S the problem. Gross. 4. Thanks for sharing, JJ. This was...something else.

The way she talks about time is so weird. She said she made silver in 7 months, then gold in 9 months. At first it seemed like after she got to silver it took her two more months to get to gold, but later it was clear it was 16 mo total. Who wants to spend SIXTEEN MONTHS "showing up" only to get paid peanuts, then after that get paid slightly larger peanuts? The thing I never understand about MLM is how people can afford to work for free for so long

MLM training is always pointless, but this is somehow EXTRA pointless?? Any advice from someone who’s been in the MLM for 13 years is totally not applicable these days. Also, her little story about how she kept joining the MLM a secret from her husband…just ew. If my spouse did that, it wouldn’t matter to me if they actually did succeed- they still betrayed my trust by making a big financial decision behind my back.

I love that every single MLM makes the assumption not only that everybody goes to Starbucks every day of the month to purchase a drink, but that their purchasing expensive drinks. When I used to work with my aunt in an office, I would buy her a black, tall coffee from Starbucksonce in a while and it was definitely not between four and seven dollars. It was cheaper than that so they’re assuming that someone is going to get like a Frappuccino or something every single day

Nurses are over worked and work in a very demanding role not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally. Time freedom and and working with autonomy was the biggest reason MLM seemed like a great idea. Plus having my knowledge as a nurse to continue to help others not only with products, but to also be able to earn money too was such an amazing opportunity… but it’s not. It’s just as demanding but in a different way… plus you don’t get paid in the way they promise…. The vulnerability I had from being traumatized in my nursing career plus also having a chronic inflammatory disease made it very easy to become preyed upon by the MLM. Now I have the guilt and shame attached to exploiting other people whom I was dedicated to helping is a whole other level of trauma that I never expected.

It's very nice if they do and I'll love you for it, but you don't owe me, especially not money for the work I love to do. That's why I do it. I work in health care (allied health profession) and have known more than a couple nurses who have been in MLMs (none successful). Their work schedule can be very stressful, as is patient care. And plenty start their nursing studies right after high school, which is pretty young to start a career with so much critical responsibility. I can understand the dissatisfaction and looking for another career path.

Not to completely disagree, but nursing also does attract a contingent of people who just see it as a high paying, socially acceptable career for a woman. Such people may have no real inclination for the profession, and they may live in areas where career opportunities are limited. They might be tempted by the promise of more money made easily. There are many problems with how nursing is structured in the US, but I think those of us in healthcare know that there are definitely some proverbial rotten apples as well.
