Remember Nerd Week 2014?? Yeah, that WAS cool, wasn't it? Well...let's just say THIS week is going to be about 20% cooler ;) ALL PONIES, ALL WEEK! Some of your favorites, some of my personal favorites, just make sure to let everybody know what's going down right here @ Caleb's Covers!
I've been planning this week for quite sometime, and I really hope it all goes smoothly lol (that's never the case though!) MLP is a secret love of mine, but I think it's time I embrace it fully and let the whole world know~
Sooo, I know it's not TECHNICALLY a "FiM" song, but I freaking LOVE IT, and that's all that matters, last time I checked~ jkjk! I hope y'all enjoy this one, I really do. It's actually taken on a lot more meaning over this past week. I was not intending to do anything from the "Equestria Girls" side of things, simply because there's SO. MUCH. content coming from just the main series. However, this song has been speaking to me ever since I started this week, so I wanted to capture that emotion and put it into a cover. The thing that the haters don't get about MLP is that its not just about "girly flowers and rainbows and peace everywhere". It has some great life lessons and some great bucking songs. It could teach the haters MORE than a thing or two about kindness. The thing that tiks ME off the most is that 99 percent of them dont even give it a chance. Just sad. Want to know the thing I don't like about some types of gender swap covers? People just make the song deeper, and call it a male cover. Or when they make the song a higher pitch and call it a female cover. I love the ones where they actually re-sing the songs.

Lol Caleb's spazzing, gestures, and dancing around while singing is totally like me while singing anything, especially when singing along with the radio. I get judgmental looks from family and passing drivers alike. Totally worth.
