I said it many times, but the atmosphere at Children's Mercy Park was incredible that game! Solid 50/50 split, and the Sporting fans that invited me and my friend over for their tailgate were extremely cool as well as every other Sporting fan I interacted with. We need to keep this kind of rivalry going and growing because this is one the MLS needs

And also Pulido’s first goal, Salloi wasn’t offsides. People are saying he was off, but he clearly wasn’t. His body was level with the last STL defender. Goal.

​@@ChiefsProdz_ Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding for Pulido's goal is that there was player who WAS in an offside *position* -- #13, Gutierrez -- when the ball was delivered to Salloi who then made the cross to Pulido, but offsides is only called if the player who actually receives the ball is offside. I'm betting the people who think Pulido's goal saw Gutierrez being offside but aren't fully up on how the rule works. (I could be wrong about this).

STL cant ever get a break of the bs handballs for or against and easily the worst officiating ive ever seen both ways… Missed red card or even a foul on Johnny Russell with his spiked tacked on Nilsson, the foul which started Adenirans first goal, a yellow card for the tackle on Russell later on, the offsides not called for KC and then called against STL. I could rant forever about this one

If we can keep home field advantage somehow, I like our odds of getting a win or two in the playoffs. But if our road form continues to struggle as it has, we will lose the conference lead to LA. The Sept 20th game against LAFC in STL will be a big game.

Worst officiating I have ever seen, and that goes both ways… Shouldve been a yellow when Russell got taken out, Adenirans second goal was not offsides and at least the FOURTH obvious handball in the last 7 games now (Toronto, Miami, Austin, and no KC) STL that has not been called… Yet we still have handball PKs go against us every time. MLS ref are embarrassing

"The book" (Law 12) says: "It is an offence if a player: deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm (or) touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation." Tucking in certainly makes sure that the player isn't making his body bigger, but it's not a mandatory criterion.
