Couldn't agree more with you sir it is really quite a challenge to teach chemical equilibrium graphs. I've been wondering how am I going to tackle this and best present it to my learners so that they will understand it.
@MlungisiNkosi3 жыл бұрын
Mr Bafshoe, the reality is there will always be sections or part thereof that are challenging to tackle. But that's why we're there for each other, to help point one another to greener pastures. I will also rely on you to share any simpler method you may develop in tackling some of the other sections. We are in this together... For the love of Physical Science and the betterment of our people. Hoopaaa!!! Lol

So, concentration and pressure happen concurrently? Cause this was confusing me. I know that when the volume is decreased the concentration increases from the equation or rather from the definition of concentration however I also know that pressure will increase because number of collisions per area increase as well and so i really didn't know how to represent it on the graph.

would the H2 not be higher on the graph due to it having a 3 in front of it?'
@MlungisiNkosi3 жыл бұрын
The stoichiometric coefficients are not in any way an indication of actual moles that are places in the reaction... Therefore,you may easily find a lower concentration of H2 or even a higher one. It all depends on the person conducting the reaction. The coefficients, however show us the ratios in which they will collide (react) with each other. I hope that makes sense...

Sir is there a difference between dynamic equilibrium and chemical equilibrium?
@MlungisiNkosi2 жыл бұрын
Nope... It's the same thing
@melikhayakepu61632 жыл бұрын
@@MlungisiNkosi actually There is a difference between chemical equilibrium to a very small extent, dynamic equilibrium tells us that the reacyion still CONTINUES woth the rate of reactants and products being equal at contant concentration. While chemical equilibrium misses the contiue part of it but the assumption is thst though thate is the same but it should be continuing, so Dynamic is explicitly mentioning that at eauilibrium the reaction still continues.

sorry a little confused about the last part when pressure is increased that means the volume decreases right so according to Le chateliers principle the system will favour the reaction that decreases the pressure which means volume increases therefore the reaction that produces more gas moles should be favoured to oppose the disturbance or Am I wrong? I think Sir made a mistake. 💁♂💁♂
@kgalanelucasmalekane83202 жыл бұрын
