1. What was the first MM romance novel that you read? - Someday, Someday by Emma Scott 2. Which book/series have you reread the most? - Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid 3. What is a book/series that you hate, but other people love? - n/a 4. A book that made you sob. - Counting Daisies by Nicola Haken 5. A book that you didn't expect to like, but ended up loving. - Wicked Lies Boys Tell by K. Webster. Although I love toxicity within romances, I was hesitant to read this because of the amount of mixed reviews but ofc it's no surprise I ended up loving it, lol. 6. A series that you won't be finishing. - n/a 7. A trope that you don't like reading about. - Reverse harem. Pretty much anything where the romance is between more than two people, no thank you. 8. A series you have yet to finish. - Game Changers by Rachel Reid. I've only read books 2 and 5 so far, but I'll most likely get around to the rest sometime in the future. 9. A trope you didn't think you'd like, but actually do. - n/a 10. An author you just can't seem to get into. - n/a BONUS QUESTION #1. Heated rivalry and The Long Game are such a fantastic duology and I feel like it deserves more praise. I am a huuuuge sucker for sports MlM romances and for secret relationship/coming out stories and Rachel Reid does those soooo perfectly

Oh perfect. I just finished reading a book and wasn’t sure where to go next-always love getting recs from your channel! And I 100% agree with the *very* forced HEA with kids-most of the time these endings seem out of left field.

Great video and recommendations! What a great tag! I feel like I can't do this, as I haven't read enough MM romance yet, but it would also be interesting to see how my answers might change from Jan 2022 to Jan 2023?! This could defo be an annual tag if your answers change due to new releases for that year. Also - totally hear you on the age-gap thing! But sometimes an age-gap that everyone hates, I love, and vice versa? I don't know why?

I think I’m gonna be watching you just to see what you don’t like and then I’ll read that! I love the straight Guy series, it’s one of my favorites! I can’t stand a series that’s based on players in a game. I have another booktuber that I watch her most disliked, because usually I know I’ll like it. That’s just how it goes sometimes, and I appreciate it! I find books I’ve never heard of before sometimes.

This was fun. It shows how people are so different. I love Alice Winters. I couldn’t finish Meta Humans series either. I love the Elite trilogy. :)

I feel the same about Boyfriend Material, but I actually finished it and I honestly regret not dneffing it. I don't know if you have read books by this author, sorry if you have, but Sloane Kennedy is a great MM romance authour in my opinion. There are MM, MMM, and a couple books with MMMM romance in them. She has a few series and I like them all. They are emotional at times, but they also make you gush and smile.

Noooo Logan and Tate lol I couldn't finish the other series. Idk what it was I usually absolutely adore everything Brooke Blaine and Ella Frank but I just couldn't get into it.

1. My first mm romance: Sutphin Boulevard Santino Hassel probably. (I liked it at the time but the author is super problematic now) 2. Most reread: i don't tend to reread mm. I reread one time Alessandra Hazard straight guys #1 #4 3. I hate but everyone loves: Him by Bowen and Kennedy. I didn't hate it but halfway through I dnfed it. Not exciting enough. I was mostly disappointed because I loved Top Secret. 4. I don't cry at books (and I don't read emotional romances) 5. Loved even if at first uncertain: Muscling Throug by JL Merrow 6. Series I will not finish: Bad in Baltimore by KA Mitchell. I read only the first book and I wasn't that impressed. 7. Trope I don't like: not really a trope but: mental healt issues and trauma. Real life is hard enough and while reading romance I just want the fantasy. 8. Series I want to finish: Rachel Reid's Game Changers 9. Trope I didn't think I'd like, but I do: friends to lovers. In straight romances I hate it but in mm I don't 10. Author I don't like: I dnf pretty quickly so I don't know. Changing it in favourite author: first love: TJ Klune. Comfort author: Alessandra Hazard 11. I don't have and underrated favourite book to recommend because I tend to read pretty popular stuff. But great question! 12. My favourite mm: probably Just a Bit Wromg by Alessandra Hazard (#4) Angsty, smutty, bratty mc So yeah, half of my positive answers were about Alessandra Hazard. I eat up her angst and smut but I see how someone wouldn't like her books: the relationships are all messed up in some way

Ooh I haven’t heard of a few of these, I’ll have to check them out! And I definitely need to get to Rachel Reid’s series, it’s been on my TBR for so long!!
