If the body is injured, what is necessary to ice? Should every injury use ice?
@NXG_HQ2 жыл бұрын
This video is primarily referencing the portion leading up to and immediately during a fight. Ice is the most commonly acceptable (and available) item in the ring or cage. A quick application of ice can both slow swelling and aid in desensitizing the affected area, at least in the short term. While I am not a doctor or medical professional, all of my experience and research indicates ice at the early onset is one of the best applications for most inflammatory injuries. The common protocol is referred to as R.I.C.E. (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Of course your healthcare professional will later advise of a more long term course of treatment including ice, heat, massage, electro stimulation, and other therapeutic recovery methods. However, as stated previously... if the injury is not severe enough to stop the fight, the cornerman's goal is then to simply keep the athlete in the fight.

Where do you get your coaching license?
@NXG_HQ3 жыл бұрын
Coaching licenses are most often issued by the state athletic commission. However, some states have private sanctioning bodies i which case the license is issued by the sanctioning body of a specific event.
