@@mjg274 Watch the fight again. IMO there was no clear winner. GSP won on the score cards while Hendricks did more damage. It's all meaningless though because EVERYONE (except you Hendricks fanboys) knows that Big Rig was juiced to the gills. Just look at Johnny's fights after the testing got better. 🙄

How this man conducts himself outside of the cage is absolutely a statement of his character and integrity as a human being..Including his humility and balanced nature as a human being is amazing..In the cage I always loved every fight of his and his ability to pull through and dig deep when things got tough were exceptional. To me, this culmination or amalgamation of qualities makes him the GOAT of his time and class.

I used to be a bully back in middle school and high school. 22 years have now passed and I definitely regret everything I did to all those people and sometimes I do think about it. The way someone is raised makes the biggest difference and most people are ignorant of the whole situation. Back then I couldn't even comprehend why I did it other than it made me falsely feel superior. It took me many many years to understand why I did what I did and it was a complete life changer. I raised my boys strictly and I teach them to be compassionate and not to judge others they don't know because they never know if those people can actually turn out to be a friend. GSP is a bigger champ as a Human being than he is in the Octagon. Great story Champ!

I think what the interviewers don't get is that GSP isn't on a hunt for anything because he already completed his. It's hard to understand if you're still on the grind, but that's the reason he's just trying to make his inner peace because he achieved his goals lived his dream and therefore his mission is over, hence he just wants to share his knowledge and not for profit reasons or because it's what's he wants to do its what he knows what he lived. Great guy I have to say, the George Clooney of the UFC, just gets better with age. Also similar progression to Iron Mike, maybe it's a fighter thing.

it was interesting to see the "are you in the hunt" series of questions. I think it boils down to 2 very different life philosophies. In America, we have this culture of always having to be "busy" at something, to be doing something, and I think it means that we've lost sight of what it means to just allow oneself to simply be. I'm not sure the host grasps this concept. Georges is looking for a life where when he gets up in the morning, there are no demands on his time that he didn't put there. A life where there are no obligations. That is true freedom. To be in full control of the only truly finite resource in your life - time. Georges seems to indicate that he gave it his all, burnt himself out to be amazing at something and that he's ok if there's not something else in his lifetime that he has to outcompete someone at. I don't think that here in America we understand very well that you don't always have to be competing, or comparing yourself to someone else, or always have to be the best at something. We're not familiar or comfortable with the concept of having "enough". Georges has made enough money to not have to outcompete other people for resources to live the kind of life that he wants to - kudos to him for that. He has nothing left to prove and has turned his energies inwards towards being the best Georges he can be, and that is good enough, he doesn't have to be the best podcaster, car salesman, or anything else to feel validated and at peace. And that's OK.

Yeah dude just want to be happy and healthy. Pbd couldn’t understand how someone who went to crazy lengths to be a ufc goat just stop and focus on his health. That’s why I love gsp interviews. He’s so wise and smart

I experienced how much of a gentleman Georges is when I spotted him having breakfast alone and could not resist going over to say a few words. I apologized for disturbing him, but he said it was no problem and he finished his bite and set down his cutlery to listen. It was a small gesture, but the politeness of it, and his respectful demeanour, really struck me. I told him that I had been a fan for a long time and particularly enjoyed being in the crowd when he gave Koscheck the beating that he deserved, which got a big smile, and I let him get on with his meal. Just a class act.

Khabib and GSP are one of a kind we will ever witness in our lifetime.... These men are almost the same but not. Very smart individuals .. at the same time , they both honest , both respectful and both MONSTERS! LEGENDS! I think it's for the best we don't see them fight each other... sometimes it' snot about who's the best of the best , just give both respect !

Nothing but respect for GSP, he's one of few guys who are respectful, intelligent, well spoken & as talented as he is. More guys should model themselves after him, there would be a lot less drama & more professional fights

Love GSP, I've read his book called "Way Of The Fight" which has many lessons, a must read for any entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneurs. GSP is extremely intelligent and a deep thinker as his book helps you master your mindset.
