@stonecoldhooligani386211 ай бұрын
Then took that experience and used it as fuel to turn himself into a world class mma champ. Nothing but respect to GSP.
@user-nv2wt4hi8t11 ай бұрын
Got to disagree, big time. At best there might have been some nervous laughter but he wasn't 'not really knowing what to say' or 'accepting the jokes', he was going to the dark place, throwing all that fuel onto the fire. Time and again, whether it was planting himself firmly and giving as good as he got from Bisping's seemingly spiteful verbal lashing (they respect/respected each other and Bisping has often said how he played it up for promo, but a victim would have probably crumbled under a Bisping onslaught), standing up for himself confidently against Dana's repeat bullshit or threatening to throw Koscheck's career into the downwards skid (which he did), GSP has always shown himself to handle bullies and aggressors with class, confidence and control.

Freakish physical athleticism and strength + hyper focused dedication to complete technical skill mastery + the unstoppable stamina of a finely tuned machine, with the raw, calmly pounding heart of a lion.. I love how he was always humble, in victory and defeat, but came right back and avenged his losses to Hughes and Serra. He was destroying Koscheck too, controlling the whole fight. GSP taught a masterclass of psychological warfare against Koscheck. Koscheck spent the entire season trying to get under GSP's skin psychologically and GSP owned the guy. From tricking Koscheck from picking Michael Johnson, to bringing in Brad Tate to distract Koscheck completely, to outcoaching the team against Koscheck's, to bringing first class trainers in throughout camp, to coming out of the season with class, and then taking Koscheck's soul from him in the fight...GSP did it all. GSP punished him in the fight to where Koscheck was never the same man again. There is no aspect of life that Koscheck can come away from this experience and say he was better than GSP either as a fighter or as a man.
