People are being a little hard on Ben. He had a really great plan, and he he defended 5 take downs and got out and his stand up wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. That being said. I think ben is to late in the game age wise to make any significant improvements in his overall game. You can't be to dominant in one aspect and expect to make it far in MMA. you have to be acceptable at everything to get by. Being great at just wrestling isn't working out. We've seen Cheal Sonnen who was a much better fighter prove that wrestling alone is not enough and the only reason why he went further is because his stand up is better and he his ground game defense improved. But you saw what happenes when Anderson who was loosing the entire fight tried one last move and did that foot lock on Chael at the last moments in the last round and submitted him.

😂😂Anyone that thinks Askren didn't have an incredible comeback to absolutely manhandle Robbie Lawler is a complete moron and a tool of epic proportions. Masvidal hit him with a beautiful knee that was a low percentage chance by anyone's calculations. Not sure we saw who the better fighter was. Masvidal executed and all credit to him. His hype train was built 90% on beating Askren which clearly meant a lot to the UFC. Then we saw him against maybe the one guy that could match him on the ground in a tough battle. DM edged him and got it done but that was a tight one. We now know that he was injured the entire time as well. Ben's a guy that could/could've been an upper tier guy for many years in the UFC. He went 1-2 against three absolute studs after coming out of retirement. Drew some fun attention to the sport when they needed it. I don't think anyone would dispute that if they fought those fights again, the outcomes could all be different. Any "real" expert could see that.😂😂
