Read somewhere about the middle part of the funeral march. Can't recollect the exact name and the words, but it went like this. "In this part, one can truly see who is a poet or a mere pianist. One can see who truly plays with "it" or mechanically presses the notes.". Greg, you are the former. You are a poet. Thanks for sharing.🎉

Serdecznie pozdrawiam

So let me begin with a simple code. A = 1, B = 2.....Z = 26 (Placement Values (PV)). If we add the letters of THE PIANO =20 + 8 + 5 + 16 + 9 + 1 + 14 + 15 = 88 PIANIST = 16 + 9 +1 + 14 + 9 + 19 + 20 = 88 and yes, there are 88 notes on a standard piano. Now, Greg specialises in playing Chopin. Chopin is my favourite pianist and I have studied more of his pieces than any other pianist. But how is Greg connected to Chopin. Greg's full name is GRZEGORZ NIEMCZUK. Lets add the letters. 7 + 18 + 26 + ....... + 21 + 11 = 224. Chopin's first 2 names are FRYDERYK FRANCISZEK =6 + 18 + 25 +........ 26 + 5 + 11 = 224. The next code is the following. A = 1 we can now work out ONE = 15 + 14 + 5 = 34. 34 is the Large Value of A. B = 2 and TWO = 20 + 23 + 15 = 58 so 58 is the large value (LV) of B. and so on. GREG = 65 + 73 + 42 + 65 = 245 (LV). Using PV POLISH CONCERT PIANIST = 245 (PV). Now for the next code. It is the Decimal Code which I call the Normal Values (NV) as they are normal for Greek and Hebrew. In this code A = 1, B = 2.... J = 10, K = 20.....S = 100, T = 200...Z = 800. PIANO = 70 + 9 + 1 + 50 + 60 = 190. Using PV PIANO = 16+ 9 + 1 + 14 + 15 = 55. Now we add the PV + LV = 55 + 190=245 (WV) WV means Whole Value. I've got lots more but it gets complicated. And I can do this with 95% the musicians that I have tried so far. I have a book called Musical Pordigies with over 80 musicians. My failures are most likely due to not having the full name of the artist.
