MrGenedancingmachine nah politically correct makes people like you. You live in a closet because you can't say anything outside of it. I'm guessing you have your own issues to come out and just insult someone. Nick and Nate are free to speak. Freedom of speech, remember? Now, you can think however you like. Just know you will be judged for it

MrGenedancingmachine Dude why would you want to talk about those guys like that, they had hard lives made it out, bettered them selves, now they kick ass, have A successful MMA school and make money to take care of there family's that's what it's all about.MMA is hard to learn especially Gracie ju jit su, so there not idiots and I never make comments, I wouldn't make to your face I hope your the same way # American Dream

MrGenedancingmachine see that's the thing, there not acting that's why people like them, they do and say what they feel it comes off genuine, like U see lots of entertainers they say all this positive stuff agree with everything, then A camera catchs them going against everything they said not Nick and Nate and insecure people hate people like the Diaz Brothers if you're comfortable with yourself why do two tuff guy's that really are tuff bother you. No disrespect we are all entitled to our own opinion, you could make A case neither of us are entirely wrong

I totally "get" Diaz's brothers mentality and what they are always try to say (well yeah sometimes it's hard to understand them lol). But my point is, i totally get them. I dont know why there's so much hate on them (a lot of love too). I guess hate comes with popularity. PS: What Nate says about CMPunk "situation" here makes total sense with me. I agree with everything he says...

They talk insightfully. Most people don't understand what they are talking about because their eyes arent open. But with a little more knowledge and understanding they start to understand what they are talking about.

Nate Diaz made a great point. If CM Punk comes in the UFC 6 months from now. The same time the Reebok deal kicks in. CM Punk apparel Reebok will sell more than anyone on the UFC roster. And he will gain 20% out of the revenue Wow. Becoming the biggest cash cow for the UFC. all the proceeds from the Reebok deal was guaranteed to go to the fighters. we will see how this will work out. This was not a coincidence the same week CM Punk come out to fight MMA and the Reeboks deal is also announced. Is marketing strategy ...a big draw ...a big payday.. Nate Diaz got it right big hustle

Nate may be slurring and may not be the best at putting sentences together but in this interview he really hits the nail on the head.. Talking about how the deal is good for the company but not the fighter. How it would be nice to be taken care of your company so you would not have to worry about sponsors. How it is disrespectfull for the fighters to have a amateur come in and make 10times what they do. Personally I like a freak show... I would like to see CM punk and the green power ranger have a scrap, but then all would also know it was a freak show, not trying to make him seem like he has any chances at competing at a high level.

agreed, they should set up a tent area outside the main venue and have cm punk fight tank abbot or whoever and charge a cover premium for that specific event.. and nate is spot on about sponsorship and how it should be gravy instead of the core of one's salary..

I say let anyone in. It's martial arts. A lot of people need to get tested in there life. Before saying Whoa this sport is hard. I remember I thought I was a badass. Then I got rag dolled by wrestlers. Needless to say I knew that was my weakness. So I focused only on wrestling. It's Martial Arts. Anyone can do it. Can they do it on UFC or Bellator level. Hard to rel until they try. And if the UFC are willing to let him take a crack at it. Then screw it. Win or Lose. You can not deny at least he is not talking tough on here or on a keyboard lol. Dude is gonna get in there with Killers. I wish him the best from one Martial Artist to the other.

Though I feel diaz is taking a business move by the UFC to CM punk personal. I can see his gripe. The reason why people don’t crowd around UFC fighters like they do an NFL or NBA player or EVEN WWE wrestler is the same reason why CM PUNK was given a chance so easily. Marketing. People need to WATCH the ufc. And fighters need to be recognizable and have a career long enough to earn that recognition. By the time we hear about most fighters making a buzz theyre already halfway through their career or 75% done. MMA is hard and taxes the body. Fans root for individuals that come and go. Warriors like Silva, Henderson, Shamrock, Hunt, Jones, Jackson, Liddell and so many more fade in the blink of an eye while FRANCHISES like 49ers, Cowboys, Lakers, Bulls etc...LAST beyond generations. Cheering for the Lakers can happen as a Child and Old man. Cheering for Anderson Silva Only happens while hes young. So the individual isn’t what they see. They see the Team and teams before them. Thats why people are more excited to see a team than an individual fighter at times. Boxing is different because careers go into the 50 fight range. They become franchise names of their own. UFC is brutal. A flash in the pan is what it is. So It is also another reason why Diaz has so much appreciation for the fights. For the discipline of the MMA world. It’s a catch 22 really. I don’t think he should hate the player named CM PUNK. He should be mad at the game of the UFC business model itself.

So C.M Punk doesn't deserve to be paid more than the person he's fighting? Bullshit! And this is coming from Nate Diaz? The guy whose brother lost to Condit, then walked straight into a title shot? Guess why Nate? Because Nick is a DRAW. Let's say for example that C.M Punk fought C.B Dolloway in his first UFC fight (bad match-up for Punk, but just for example lol)... Dolloway is a TOP 10 ranked UFC middleweight, but guess who the world would be paying their hard-earned cash to see... It certainly wouldn't be Dolloway. Nate is a beast, Nick is a beast, and I hope C.M punk is successful, I just think Nate was slightly hypocritical since his brother got a title shot off a loss, AND has just walked into a fight with the G.O.A.T following TWO losses.

I'm still lukewarm about the Reebok deal. However, provided they can establish a respectable ranking system, the Reebok deal may be good for the fighters wallets.
