I never did agree on how he won the belt. the guys been through a lot. his father was murdered, his daughter died in a car accident... after watching what hes done since having the belt and whats hes going through with Jones... a lot of people are questioning his status as Champion when they talk about jones... and in all honesty. I hope he beats Jones... Cant wait to see him defend the belt once again.

Never have I not liked and respected this man. Why people have hated on him has everything to do with them and nothing to do with him. It's a travesty that hateful people have to hate in order to feel a sense of purpose and to garner attention. When you insult this man, you also insult every man he's beaten. He just defeated one of the toughest SOBs on the planet for the second time. If you can't respect that, then you surely don't respect yourself. He's overcome his father's death and his daughter's death and has become one of the best fighters in the world. Yeah, he gets my respect all day everyday.

I think Daniel Cormier came into the light heavyweight division at a perfect time were fighters are not as well rounded as they were years ago all I see is a bunch of knockout artist not as many well rounded fighters in the division DC benefits from that. However with Jones dominated the division and his highest peak where you had pretty much the whole division was well rounded fighters not just guys that can only knock you out!
