Makhachev can take them down but Oliveira would struggle with them again because Poirier needed to make that roll mistake and Gaethje needed to be get knockdown by Oliveira to get him to the ground, Oliveira didn't use wrestling to take them, because Oliveira doesn't have Makhachev or Khabib level wrestling, Oliveira's BJJ is very high level but not his wrestling. I think Poirier has a chance to beat Oliveira if he doesn't make big mistakes like roll or just standing, because Poirier knows BJJ, he submitted Holloway and Chandler, if he prepares well he can survive on the ground and stop Oliveira's takedowns like he did in 1st round. As for Gaethje, his takedown defense and defensive wrestling is elite, he can't be dropped again because his BJJ is not good as Poirier's so if Gaethje goes to ground with Oliveira its finished.

Australia's 24 hours only rehydration rule (its usually 36 hours in USA and Abu Dhabi) and Australia's very different time zone compared to USA or Abu Dhabi, probably affected Makhachev's performance and Makhachev still won, Makhachev himself said because he couldn't recover well after weight cut, Volk and him were the same weight during the fight, rematch will be different, still Volk is hard to finish so that could be a good rematch.
