I know why Sage is so happy all the time. I know exactly why. I have felt it myself, and it is awesome. As our society falls deeper into government control, it becomes harder to achieve your personal dreams, if we dream at all anymore. Individual achievement is not easy today, (But still can be done if you don't follow others,--but use your own brain to figure things out. You can trust yourself.), and for those who have stopped dreaming/working for their own goals, there will be stories in the media on how you can be happy in our decline. They will tell to do yoga, or paint a picture (and how ugly will that be from a person with no dreams?), or give away something to somebody else,---who you may not even know, just because they dreamed less than you did. Or they may show you how Chinese people try to stay happy living under their brutal dictatorship, and even how eating bugs is actually a delicacy. Hmmmmm---yum yum? BULL HOCKEY to all, of that! Sage Northcut is happy all the time, because he has been a "achiever" all of his life. It is personal achievement, were man and mind became a success---where true happiness is found, and nobody can "talk" it out of you after you earned that happiness. Sage is actually experiencing a freedom that not many try to earn, and I am damn happy for him also. He is a lesson to learn from IMO, even though he is so young. That is what our Founding fathers meant when they said "Your right to pursue happiness". It means your right to achieve your dreams in anything you can think of (as long as you don't step on somebody elses opportunity to compete--by getting unfair and criminal advantages), weather it be in science to sports, -------and not be a slave "for the good of the all". Nothing great ever came out of that.
