Alex to the rescue again. After some of those earlier fights and judges decisions, Dana's having wet dreams of Alex at this point lol

The main reason Roundtree had his success in the early rounds was because of his speed. Ankalaev is slow af, that dude will get absolutely smoked by Pereira
@BuntarouMoriАй бұрын
If anyone uses all the gas at the beginning they will have better performance. Mainly in explosion, speed This is like a boost, performance hack and if the opponent is strategic he will be at a disadvantage. It turns out that this has a huge risk, you are dead in the third, fourth round For example, what Chimaev does, any good wrestler can do. It turns out that Umar, Tsarukyan, Charles, Machkachev, Dricus will not use all their breath at the beginning because is risky
@baxetoАй бұрын
If Ank can get him to the ground, he has a chance. Ank makes dumb decisions, though. So he might try to stand...
@hcastro35Ай бұрын
If you see the post fight interview Alex was also dealing with multiple injuries so it's impressive he still finished Roundtree
@akshayrbhavsarАй бұрын
Ankalaev striking isn’t even in the same stratosphere as Khalil or Alex. He’d get absolutely smoked on the feet

Food poisoning is no joke, glad to see you back bro. Ask Rob what he thinks about these BS odds for his scrap, seriously how tf does a dude who hasn’t fought a legit ranked middleweight get the favorite spot?!?

This PPV had some moments but it made me want to cry with the judging. Especially with the Aldo vs Bautista fight. However, it is what it is fights over on to the next. We all can’t wait for Rob’s fight. This community will be cheering him on all the way! Thank you jonny for all the news update and thoughtful analysis.

We shouldn’t assume Magomid is gonna win that fight
@CJH94Ай бұрын
Na not at all. His grappling isn’t on the level people assume it is. 205 is so shallow it’s crazy.
@zealpulses3826Ай бұрын
It's weird that people act like he's some elite grappler just because he's from Dagestan. He has no submission wins. Magomed is a striker with a Sambo background.

im seeing alot of people say that khalil was dominating the fight up until the finish which is actually insane, but the biggest star is bound to bring out casuals that don’t know what they’re watching. i honestly thought that khalil only won round 2 due to “dropping” pereira (which isn’t a knockdown because he was off balance and was up right away) and the headkick that he ate. i can see the argument for round 1, khalil was throwing a lot but wasnt really landing much so i gave that to pereira. other than that it was clear the gameplan was to take khalil to the later rounds because its his first title fight at altitude, heart rate gonna be through the roof and he was gonna gas out.
@lucasgregory6375Ай бұрын
Cheers for another upload, mate. Keep cranking em out and we'll keep watching

5:12 - good eye, Jonny. Pereira revealed in a post-fight interview (FULL SEND MMA) that he almost pulled out of the event due to illness and a rib-injury. Might explain his unusual reaction. Good to see you back on your feet with a vid, and send our blessings and love to Rob.

Rountree has a similar physique to Dricus and Paulo Costa. Both 1.85cm compact and strong They both struggle to make weight but overcome this challenge to get into a better category for them. Rountree should make this effort because it tends to be rewarded. I don't see him losing to Dricus for example. ADESANYA+DRICUS+CANNONIER+VETTORI+PAULO COSTA+WHITTAKER added together in the last 20 fights they have 5KO Rountree comes from 4 KOs in a row The power in the hands of the light heavyweight, Rountree is totally different and Dricus is extremely open That would be worth the effort
@beastieking1Ай бұрын
Khalil grappling is terrible he’d drain himself to make 185 and then Dricus would have the grappling to drown Khalil

I wonder if Alex subconsciously had a lack of respect for khalils stand up which caused him to look a little bad in the first 2 rounds.
