I have the same tires on my Challenger II in NH. They make the ground ride so much more comfortable. Most of the "bush" tires are slicks as the ones with grooves (ours) can pick up pebbles which can launch up through the wings. I'm putting flat fenders behind mine to prevent that from happening. Nice to see snow up there. None in southern NH yet. I'm guessing T-Rex will be her favorite. Arms too short to reach into their pockets to pay for the $100 hamburgers. ;)

Awesome wheels! I do my split rims the same way , the key that I've found is adding the right amount of air when changing .

Well, its hard to choose a favorite dinosaur, but perhaps archaeopteryx (R-key-op-trix) as they had feathers and are thought to be the ancestors of modern birds and flying is fun and I like birds. I like those new wheels, those should work great on the island this summer.

Thanks for the test, I've wondered if I could pick up any speed changing from the 21" aero to something smaller on my Zenith 750, I know bigger tires will slow it down, like what Justin Tisdale has on his Zenith. Speaking of the Zenith I know you sold off your half of the 701, but could you do an update on it, how it is doing with the China cloned rotax? Oh and favourite dinosaur Godzilla.

Volet loves Godzilla too! :-) The engine in the Zenith is still going strong as far as I know. It's not here at the airport anymore so I'm not sure if I'll get any further updates on it.

Lovely! Violet! I always liked the T-Rex- Tyrannosaurus Rex. I expect he'd like me too (though, I would only be a snack!) Matt! THANK YOU for sharing! Where did you get the new landing light? How well does it work? Split Rims - I had to bend a coathanger wire just right and use it to tuck the tube back where it was supposed to go. Very tedious for the first tire but much easier for the 2nd. (at one time, I had a Quad City Challenger 2). The QC2 rims were designed by someone who didn't think of ever replacing tires! They were flat butt edges that were trying their best to pinch the tube.

Does it make a difference if you put a tube in a tire made to be tubeless. I know I isn't good to put a tubeless tire on a wheel made for tube in tire. Just curious. Figured the tube may not grip the insides like it's supposed to and shear the valve stem

I just bought an Aerotrek A240 with wheel pants and tires. But, the previous owner did give me the bush tires and another nose gear. So, I am curious on your speeds.

I was expecting to be at least 3 or 4 mph slower but I saw no difference in cruise speed at all. They clearly make much less of an impact than I thought.
