didnt really break, its just the wheel speed sensor, mine goes off extremely rarely when driving in rain, quick error erase and its gone for a good while. will be putting in a new sensor soon tho, very cheap and extremely easy to replace.

Reality is very simple. Petrol does give a better overall performance, but in real life it is hardly that noticeable. Diesels do their job with less effort, give a much better economy and last longer.

Its funny how everyone tells that diesel is better.. If you use your ride in town or for short rides 20-30 km than petrol will last longer for sure. Its also cheaper to maintain if something goes bad.

The diesel is a far better day to day car to drive, the power is much more Accessible for zipping in and out of traffic and overtaking. The 330i is a great engine but it's a race car and you just can't (legally) use all the power on the road.

First disel is not in ds mode wich changes quicker then the diference would be smaller. But its normal tath 330i is faster its 100kg lighter and it has almost 30hp more.

The zf8hp got closer gearing, the n57d30 does peak power for a 1200 rpm, just meet the 8hps gearing. no it's not the 30hp of peak output. most f30 do 14-16 (coupe, limo, touring) 100-200 kmh. i think there's something wrong with that 30d. mine is a f31 and does the job in 15.something and not 20+++ like the one in the vid.

@@legioner9 Well, considering that I missed the fact, that these both were e90.. So most probably the m57 stock with 231HP. And the fact the tranny was the 6hp auto... The 20+ sec 100-200 looks "ok" to me. not great, but nothing strange either. depending on health of the car and track the vid was shot.. I never had an e90 30d, just an e46 30i, but it could stay close on the autobahn with the e90's... so i'm guessing the numbers couldn't interfere that much.

@bla bla ich habe schon mehrere 330i auf dem Prüfstand gesehen. Die e46er streuen von 222 PS bis 202 PS nach unten. Die e9xer haben, anstatt 272 PS, 245 - 255 PS. Der e39 M5 streut 20- 30 PS nach unten. Der e36 M3 3.2 sogar bis zu 50 PS E92 M3 auch um die 20 PS nach unten. Die e30 Modelle haben alle mindestens ihre Leistungen, oft sogar etwas mehr. Die e36 Modelle bis zum 328i auch. Aber generell, hab ich gesehen, je höher die Sauger Leistung angesetzt ist, desto eher wird sie nicht erreicht

Kann ich dir genau sagen, ich hab beide gehabt. E90 330i (N52B30O1) Auto und E92 335i (N55) Hand. Der 330i läuft ruhiger, klinkt besser, trinkt weniger und hast du im Endeffekt weniger Probleme weils halt keinen Turbo plus extra Anbauteile dafür gibt. Den 330i benutzte Ich für Langstrecke, jeden Tag 150km. Zieht auch jetzt noch den meisten 3 Zylinder Turbo Schüsseln die Wurst vom Brot. Der 335i ist ein Geschoss ohne Ende, zieht wie ein Schwein im 3ten und 4ten, klinkt lange nicht so gut aber du kannst die linke Auspuffklappe permanent öffnen und das hilft schon. Auch säuft der ganz schön wenn mann bisserl drauf haut. In der standard Form hatte meiner auf dem Prüfstand 291PS an der Achse also schon etwas mehr als die angegebenen 306PS am Motor. Mit JB4, Intercooler, Chargepipe, Downpipe und 60/40 Benzin/Ethanol mix kamen satte 401PS an der Achse raus. Selber Prüfstand, selbe Aussentemperatur. Reifen durchdrehen im 3ten auf Trockener Fahrbahn kein Problem. Aber auch schon so einiges austauschen müssen an Injektoren, Schläuchen, öfters Flüssigkeiten wechseln und das war alles noch von dem Tune.

If you maintain them well, they are strong and you only get rid of them because you want a newer one, but I you drive it like stolen when engine is cold, it will break… but a bit later than the others. I live in Germany and these machines fly low here.
