To me even if the rate goes down I will continue investing because its better than a current bank account which gains no interest.
@investingwithlawrence.Ай бұрын
Wonderful analysis. It is obvious that once the treasury bonds and bills lower interest which is where most of the MMF invest their interest will eventually be lowered. This means that government has alternative cheaper sources of loans which lowers the treasury bills or the governent has less borrowing apetite. Thanks for sharing once again.

Good Joseph, thank you for your good videos! Do I need to invest when interest rates are lower than inflation? For example if a country has 33% inflation rate and the investment company gives 25% interest rate subject to 20% Tax. What can you do in this scenario?

My country's bank has a growrh savings rate less than 5%. A 11% MMF rate in Kenya sounds very good.

Global Investment banks have relatively higher rate. Also, when bond rates are high, invest in long term ones. Eg infrastructure bond @ 18% invest in one for long eg 10 to 15 years. GJ pls confirm. Are the rates fixed for the infrastructure bonds? Kama kuna mtu alihata, come out clean useme they missed the bus

Thanks Joseph. Please work on this question for me. It took me 10 years to raise 10million. Now I want to to grow the ten million to 100m in ten years. Help
@aifelrileyАй бұрын
You can bid 6 million into infrastructure bonds currently floated by the government direct from CBK and the balance 4 million you can put them on mmf of your choice that is solid and giving good returns Rem infrastructure bond is paid twice per year every six months so you can fix it go or the mentioned 10nyrs and exponentially you will get a good returns hence generating passive income

I wish you could stop with all the negative titles especially now end of the year. Am a big fun but find it hard to watch the videos of late. I am an accountant no need for fear.
@njambizzy29 күн бұрын
True, his negative and alarmist titles take away from the great information which he usually has. I guess it's so that more people can click on it because unfortunately Kenyans tend to click on more negative issues. It is probably why the news channels always feed us with the negative because it's what the vast majority of us gravitate to. Actually, case-in-point, he is giving good news about inflation and stabilizing of the economy but it's like he's feeling guilty about it and is accompanying it with a disclaimer that he is not advertising anybody.
