⚠️ At 12:16 the ‘2’ should be a ‘0’!
Apologies😆
Hey guys, here’s a classic ethical scenario that could come up in one of your stations as part of your MMIs! Hope this helps, just remember to show your thought process and justify the order you’ve put them in. There’s no right or wrong answer, so don’t worry too much! All the best 😜

Would you also think about the time of need (e.g. consider who has the least amount of time to live unless some form of treatment, like a liver transplant, is given)
@hannahbourner7866
@hannahbourner7866 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely that’s a very good point to mention too! There’s a lot to think about, if you mention that along with all the other factors in this video, that should be more than enough :)

@@hannahbourner7866 yeah I was given a scenario of two patients needing the same liver and to produce an essay to critically analyse so daunting 😩
@hannahbourner7866
@hannahbourner7866 2 жыл бұрын
@@encyclopaedia641 oh woah that does sound hard! So you had to produce an essay as part of an interview? I guess the same factors apply here - remember there’s no right or wrong answer. Always focus on clinical need. You don’t have to give a direct answer as such as long as you’ve justified that your decision should be based on clinical need, you should be alright :)
