Thanks for the care and concern for us after the hurricane ❤. Since we're 35 miles from Steinhatchee, the Gulf of Mexico, we're without electricity but not near the damage. These storms are unusual to be back to back like they've been, but thank the good Lord we're alright 🙏❤️

My second car was a 1974 brown Vega with tan interior brand new. My first car was a 1965 GTO convertible with all the extras and options. I paid 250$ for a 9 year old car. I kept the Vega for 5 months. Traded it in for a new 1974 mustang II fastback. Silver with silver interior.

I believe one thing which is overlooked about Elvis’s generosity, he was not like a billionaire or something. I’ve heard the stories how his dad would have “discussions” with him about his spending. I also think that is why he worked so much. It was pretty shocking to a lot of people when, after his passing, the value of his estate was so low. He was a great and generous soul,!❤️🙏 One other thing about the Vega. I understand why Elvis would hate it. My brother had one back in the late 70’s, and it was terrible! Thanks for sharing!

QUESTION : In 1977 right after Elvis passed Ronnie McDowell came out with the song " The King is Gone" , with in a week it sold over a million records. My question is , did Ronnie ever come out to Graceland and meet Vernon before he passed in 1981 or did he ever come to or was invited to Graceland at any time before it opened to the public ?

im in FLorida on the coast we had some down trees and tons of tree stuff all over.but got lucky this time.Cedar key next to us is a ghost town.destroyed..all the historic places on the water destroyed...there is no place to vacation for anyone now.sad.
