Hi Melissa and friends / colleagues, I really enjoyed watching and listening today (and every day really), I especially love the brown/bronze tones you showcased today, they looked so beautiful!! Those are the colours I generally gravitate toward as a “ginger” I never go for black in tops, jackets or shoes actually, I don’t know why but the brown and autumnal colours are for me. I always enjoy your videos and I am very glad that I found your channel….a happy accident I like to think of it as lol. It is Canadian thanksgiving weekend now and it is what could be described as a typical English day, windy, rainy and generally miserable. I was born in wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and grew up in Buckinghamshire so well versed in the climate that can change in a blink of an eye. So…..many thanks for sharing your wonderful talents as a stylist and generally down to earth person, I think most people would not feel intimidated by your suggestions in fashion. I can only assume that it’s not easy to film, produce, edit and upload these videos to You Tube so I give you mad kudos for that!! At 61 I don’t even consider her older, but as I’m 71 I guess I wouldn’t. I’m frequently told i look in my 50s although I’d probably say 60ish, but stying advice like this helps keep me looking my best. I’m never going to give up!

Brilliant video as usual. I struggle with ankle boots and the length of your jeans. When you sit down your jeans rise up the leg and there is a big gap between the top of your boot and the bottom of the jeans, especially if you are wearing ankle grazer length. Does this matter? Would you wear a sock to fill the gap? Struggling here to look my nest 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😔

Here you go: Avoid drop shoulders Make sure your seam is on your shoulder Wear v necks or lower round necks. Avoid crew necks or high necks. If you have got broad shoulders is more about what you wear on the bottom half so you’ll need to wear wider leg, barrel leg or straight jeans that add volume. A-line skirts/dresses. Hope that helps!!

I’m not a fan of pointed toed shoes/boots although I can see how they elongate. Would more of an almond shape or a chisel shape do the same. I.e a more rounded point! 🤔😬😊

No. As we explained, you don’t need to do a blazer up and it’s more important that it fits on the shoulder than it is to do up. In fact, if it does do up it’s usually a sign that it’s going to add bulk around the mid section.

Great masterclass but could you consider not talking about your guest as if they are not there or not a person. You use a lot of ‘she’ and ‘her’ rather than using their name. I know it must be difficult to remember each persons name but it can come across quite dismissive of the person. Lynne looked great.
