@@mmrbeef with that grass goes to grasshopper 400d with deck 4rxd all grass residues disappear with that tractor and it is also distributed evenly

It's actually doing a pretty good job. I'm impressed. I've got a 1445 without a mower deck and I made a thing to move trailers around with. Pallet forks are next And maybe a dozer/push blade Never know I might find a mower deck for it one day also

I will be interested in the pallet forks. Seems like you would have to put a good amount of weight on the rear. Decks are out there.... Just have to search hard for them.

Quick question. Would you happen to know what type of PTO shaft the 1445 has. I'm thinking 🤔 about trying to buy a different yoke end for the mower deck shaft so I can build a 1800 rpm generator attachment for the 1445

If you have the larger tires on soft ground for its weight it is great. Even in the wet spring this almost 2,000 lb machine will barely leave a rut... unless of course you are a little heavy on the pedals! Cost.... New with a cab and deck they are pushing $50,000. Used with a cab like this 1445 I would expect to pay $7,000-17,000 depending on the cab, hours, model, and year.

Your 1455 is sharp. i love this channel so much and really look forward to your videos! Question, is $650 a good price for a john deere 317. I know someone who has one and is looking to sell it but i don't know if that's a good price or not. And it's fully restored.

Zach'sMtb&Beyond prices tend to be regionally dependent. Around me, that’s a very good price for a 300 series. If you do not have a flat property, check what engine the 317 has. If it’s the kt17 series1 it may not last long on lots of inclines due to a poor oiling system. If on flats, shouldn’t be as big of an issue. The kt17 series2 and onans found in some 317’s will last multiple lifetimes if taken care of.

As Wicked Coyote mentioned prices are very regional. Aside from the engine already mentioned different folks have different versions of "restored". The whole reason I even started in this hobby is I bought a restored machine.... the only thing I did not touch by the time I was done with it was the paint job.... everything else was either rebuild, replaced, fixed, cleaned up, and/or repaired.

@@mmrbeef - thanks! It's a great unit. I hurt my back several years ago, and it's come back to haunt me. I have to sell my front mount mowers and get standing units. I have a 1445 with cab, and an F1145 open station to get rid of.
