Thanks for your story. i started watching these personal stories a few years ago as i got symptoms that were concerning. Like you i was losing dexterity and found it difficult to eat and put a spoon in my mouth or get it out again. Dropping things and falling over a few times a day. Horrendous fatigue with muscles twitching madly. Saliva turned to jelly and i couldn't spit. strange body sensations that made me feel i was going to die. This for 6 years now and slowly getting better. Only fall over every few days now. I had been exposed to toxic fumes for 3 months which i believe caused all this. That is why my lungs still have a thick jelly coating on them and my body is weak. I drive trucks but have limited strength to lift anything and embarrassingly fall over sometimes in the office or elsewhere. I believe there is a toxin that is responsible for triggering MND. There is a growing concern that Blue Green Algae may be responsible as there are clusters of MND cases near effected waterways. You may already know that but it would be worth trying to detox your body as i have done early on to try to stop the progression of the illness. Steam and sauna rooms are marvellous for flushing out toxins from the body. All the best Ian.

I’ve come across these videos on KZbin lately, about MND. I live in the United States, and here we know this awful disease as ALS. But what is so intriguing to me, is that mostly every story I’ve seen & read the person is usually so fit & healthy. I mean majority of everyone is a healthy individual that ends up having this disease. I haven’t seen,or read a story yet, about an individual being a drug addict or a unhealthy person that has contracted this disease. I’m honestly beginning to think it’s a correlation to this .

very nice observation. somehow, being athletic or someone who overexercise I guess has a higher chance of getting the illness..

@@fiecl4383 thank you for your comment. My observation lead to my husband who is in the military. And men & women in the military have a higher risk of getting this disease . And unfortunately they don’t know why that is. Also I’ve read about a personal trainer who just got diagnosed with it. And also, a couple of football players also have been diagnosed with it as well. So I’m seeing the correlation with fitness & active ppl, unfortunately are being diagnosed with this dreadful, awful disease.
