Speaking of crows, one bought a taco. I dont fully remember the story, but a crow saw people give money to a worker, get a taco. So the crow gives someone a coin it found (I think it was a dime, cant remember), and made a noise that sounded somewhat like taco. Crow got his taco.

One time, this guy gave a crow a chicken nugget and some sauce. Then literally, the crow took the chicken nugget and dipped it in the sauce. Morale of the story is that the sauce must have been pretty good with the nugget.

I got had by a crow at work once. I fed them often for years so they knew me and played a mean prank by making hurt puppy sounds after a bus parked by the front door. Had me and the driver looking under the bus for five minutes. He was up on the roof of the building watching us panic like simple monkey brains. I love them so much.

Speaking of crows, when my neighbor moved to where I live, he would always try to get the crows/ravens that pick at our trash, loud noises, running up and shooing, you get the point. Anyway everyday when I look out my window at an ungodly hour, there are just dozens of crows/ravens picking up rocks and throwing them at his window and just making a general ruckus. It’s great. I did not mean for this to be so long, sorry about that.

Reminds me of sheep I helped feed as a kid when I went to a re-make of a frontier era farm. Basically, the sheep were so stupid the guy teaching us had to literally put food in the mouth of each one, move their jaws for them, and repeat several times for each sheep to get them to realize that yes, actually, food is in fact food. Oh, and when they were scared the ram ran behind the herd and hid.

@jimbobeire 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, I've read that a number of biologist say that koalas have changed a lot, their ancestors were smarter, but because the didn't have many predators, and increasingly poor soil and vegatation options in Australia led to their bodies adapted to use less energy for thinking, and later generations had smaller, smoother brains, and lower intelligence.
@Rawrough
@Rawrough 2 жыл бұрын
@@jimbobeire What do you think that similiar principal would have in effect in humans? Imagine the hunter-gatherer adapting to modern era first, then not needing to think about 'food' at all, then not having to think about...anything, really. Lower intelligence. And I dare say that's a plenty in plain sight in modern day. Although I do not blame the people, I point the finger at people who came before them, whom, with intention, by design and plan, led things this way - just for greed, power and control. JUST.
@jimbobeire

@@Rawrough Mostly affecting our learned skillset, most humans don't have much evolutionary pressure on them these days, unlike Koalas. But as we keep making things so 'convenient' that the laziest low effort lifestyle can become the norm, and you get adults who don't know how to fix anything or build it from scratch, cos they can just order it from IKEA or China. Marketing is to blame for a lot of it, 'take _two_ bottles into the shower' ? Wow, the effort... like our ancestors didn't have to _walk_ to a stream and keep one eye out for bears or wolves.

Oh I have a few fun facts ab animals too (although most of mine are ab sharks and if you wanna fact check me just for the sake of accuracy just ask Casual) anyway, there’s a shark that is called the “cigar shark” because of the fact that it’s about the size of a cigar and its skin makes it look like a cigar, but it’s also called the cookie-cutter shark because its bite is known for taking little circular chunks out of anything it deems taste-test worthy and im Ngl the bites kinda look like they were made with an overly-dangerous ice cream scoop Edit: adding onto that, their undersides are really difficult to see from beneath them and they have 3 glow-in-the-dark markings on their bellies that make them appear as little harmless fish from below.
