What most people don’t realised is that Stray Kids didn’t really have an easy and smooth journey to get to this day. They are not an overnight sensation, they are not hyped by critics and they don’t have outstanding support from their company. They worked their bloody ass off just to get recognition within their own company. I’m extremely proud of them as they continued to work hard and never gave up!

Since they are not the product of JYP producers (3RACHA started as a trio by themselves, then a survival show was created for them to choose the other members) - they are not heavily supported by JYP other than funding, and they receive less than other before they became more famous. Critics didn't like them either due to the urban nature of their sound. There are not many KPop big-three groups that have their sound (I would arguably say NO ONE has their sound, it's their own). It was a hard rode. I remember going to their first concert tour at the Fox Theater in Atlanta (I had NEVER heard of a kpop concert there from a big three - its incredibly small and has an OLD system). Meanwhile other groups perform at the Infinite Energy Arena which is MUCH MUCH bigger.

Them singing this in 2021 really hits me in the feels. I still remember that performance of Grown Up where Hyunjin couldn't stop crying - he's grown so much since then, all the members have. The props in the background of this stage really emphasise SKZ's heart for STAY - they wrote messages on the props for us to read. I can't read all of them, but they say really heart-warming things like "STAY, don't go anywhere!" I really love Stray Kids. They're not even my ult group (Ahgastays, hands up) but I always feel their love and hard work to make STAYS (and themselves) proud. Let's make this comeback a success, STAYS all around the world!

When this came out years ago I cried my eyes out… and here I am today watching and crying again. They came such a long way. When later I look back at my early adulthood I’m sure SKZ is one of the things I will think about the most.
